This service dept is the worse. Purchased a car from them and had an issue. The service manager B Kostavic made an appointment for me. So I thought all was good however that was not the case. I arrived at my appointment and they had no knowledge of my issue nor the appointment. I drove 45 minutes to this appointment and was told it would be a 3 hour wait. The service that was being sought was tire related and it should have taken about 30 minutes tops. It was so disorganized and the service people had no idea as to what was going on and what was supposed to be done. I felt like the customer service fizzled away once I signed and took possession of the car. I felt like they did not want to assist me in any way after money exchanged hands. I was promised items that I was to get today and of course no one knew anything about it. I reached out to my car salesman and he was very little help at this point. I will never deal with Ourisman of any car brand of any city ever again. Customer service is NOT supposed to stop when the line has been signed. Giving a 1 star was nice because 0 are deserved.

My ID 4 has two recalls. I called a month ago and was told the repair would take two weeks, and that the manager, Brian K, would call me back to get me on the loaner list before dropping off my car. That call never came. I called five more times, but Brian K never responded. On my fifth call, after waiting a month, I was told they were not repairing any recalls. I am disappointed with the customer service, especially since I have been bringing my car there for maintenance for three years. If that's the behavior of the manager what can you expect of the team. I am not taking my car there anymore.

On January 23, 2026, Mr. James Martin oversaw Ourisman VW's replacing the backing plates on both sides of the car and replacing the rotors, which had been also damaged. The estimate, both on cost and on arrival of parts and repair completion were fast and accurate. Just a terrific job from first call-in to completion. Albert Keidel, Bethesda, MD

Three strikes. For the THIRD time today Ourisman Volkswagen in Bethesda cancelled a scheduled service appointment. Third time in two years. Twice they cancelled appointments at the laslt minute saying the "won'tdo factory recalls". Is that even legal? Today they tell me when I show up for my routine maintenance, planning to wait while it is done, "it will be ready tomorrow". Horrible waste of time. Don't even bother to schedule online, it means NOTHING.

If I could give a no stars if I could because, I went there to simply get a key made and the next day the key failed to work nor could I use my original key to start the car. I explained the situation to the service department, they had the car towed back to them at their expense. Bryan from the service dept told me that I needed a ignition module and that it was not the key but my car. I told them that could not be correct because my car work ed just find prior to them reprogramming the key. They insisted that I pay over $900 for the ignition module so they could prove that the key worked. I refused and had the car towed to my dealer. I asked for the money back for the key as it didn't work. Not only did they refuse to give me the money back for the key they were rude . Leo the service director was so rude and disrespectful. They did not even reassemble my car and left my as the pics show. My car started up without a new ignition module with my original key after my mechanic reassembled my car. I have tried to resolve this issue but volvo has been nonresponsive. I paid $376 for key that doesn't work and then another $185 dollars to get my car reassembled. There service was appalling.
