Tim is the best mechanic in the whole DMV area. Fixed the control arms and battery issue in my car at a fraction of the cost that the Mercedes service center would have charged. Will return to him for all work in the future that my car needs. Honest, extremely fair prices, and work you can trust!

I would like to say that it's true when they say don't judge a book by its cover. Overly Auto repair looks one way but they are magnificent Ebony and Ivory dynamic duo mechanics, master mechanics at that shop. They not trying to rip you off. Please go and get your auto repair work done, you will not be disappointed.

Recently took my vehicle to Overlea Auto service after my check engine light came on, and this was by far the worst experience I have ever had with a mechanic. I strongly advise others not to trust the people working here. At first, the mechanic assured me he could fix the problem. However, less than half a block after leaving, the check engine light came back on. When I called, he asked me to return, only to admit he had “forgotten” to reconnect a part. I gave him the benefit of the doubt, but that was a mistake. His behavior quickly turned rude, arrogant, unprofessional, and even misogynistic. After reconnecting the part, he claimed the issue was resolved, but within minutes of driving, the light came back on again. When I returned the next business day, I was suddenly told there was a “different problem.” I also asked for a receipt for the parts I had paid for, but instead of being transparent, he became defensive and told me it was “none of my business” where he purchased the parts. This shop is dishonest, unprofessional, and disrespectful — especially toward women. I cannot stress enough: stay far away from Overlea Auto Repair Shop if you value honesty, professionalism, and proper vehicle service.

He went behind 2 other shops and fixed the issue that they failed to repair. Our family trusts this shop! Although they don’t give military discounts on labor, their prices are fair for sure. This is our go to shop! Give them a try - you won’t be disappointed. Sometimes they will work you in the same day without an appointment; but there are no guarantees they will be able to do so!
