Don’t take your cars here, brought my car to get motor mount replaced and oil pan replaced and got charged for that and also for an oil change since oil pan was broken, but he never added oil to the motor, now my car is more ruined. REALLY BAD SERVICE!

He definitely knows his stuff, I repair my cars from time to time so I’m mechanically inclined. I just came in to replace one of my wheel bearings because I don’t have time to do it myself and he did a great job, took him about 3 hours and charged me less than what he quoted which is great. Some of the stuff I didn’t appreciate was he tried to up charge me by telling me that my left rear wheel bearing was bad. I knew I had another bad bearing on another wheel but I didn’t know which tire it was because I kept hearing a faint whine and I just don’t have the time to find out which one it is. I figured he did me a favor by telling me where it is and was looking out for me. I ordered the part and replaced it myself. I checked it and it was totally fine, but I replaced it anyways because I trusted him and he is the mechanic after all and I felt maybe I didn’t check it right. Yet lo and behold, it didn’t fix anything, I decided to just find the bad bearing since I already got my tools out and it turns out it was the front right wheel... so there’s 50 dollars down the drain on a part I didn’t need which isn’t too bad. But that’s my experience, he’s a good mechanic though and with these rough times I totally understand why he’s wants to up-charge. Just be a little weary when it comes to his recommendations and you’ll be fine

We have been taking our cars to Perla for 5 years. He restored our old '79 Mercedes 450SL and kept it road worthy for several years. We also take our honda pilot after an accident and our audi's for brakes and other maintenance. He is a excellent and honest mechanic. He has done: timing belt, body work, brakes, suspension, transmission. We drive 30 minutes to use him.

Found them randomly while driving to NY when my car broke down in MD. The owner listened to me and understood that i need to go back home. Help changed my alternator and did an excellent job. Very trust worthy and price is very reasonable.
