Worst shop on the planet… took them 5 years to complete a few tasks. They ordered parts and did not even open the box till 2 years later to find out stuff was missing. They tried to repair stuff that should have been sent back for manufacture warranty. Let my car sit so long the fuel system went bad. Told me they replaced a battery and went dead after 1 month. I had to go over every invoice carefully and found jobs that take 7 hours they where charging 21 hours to replace serpentine setup. I had to question everything they did because they don’t tell you what’s going on they just spend spend spend and make you pay or they threaten to charge storage fees. Horrible at returning calls or emails. Definitely don’t send your car there unless you can stop by once a week to check up and see what’s going on. Larry , Moe , and Curly run that place.

Awesome place. The walk through and tour were great. We are so excited to begin working with this team on our restoration project. The weekly progress workflow is an excellent way to communicate and keep momentum on work such as this. Kyle and crew are pros at this, and we can't wait to see the final product.

These guys are the best! I spoke to Big Russ about bringing in my Camaro, and he was actually excited to talk to me-- It was so obvious how much everyone there cares about cars, and they did a phenomenal job on mine. I'll be recommending them to everybody in the future!

The nice and friendly staff do not make up for the cost ($$$ - very expensive), time (+2yrs) and aggravation (painted twice and still not acceptable). I paid for show quality work (have lots of receipts to prove it) and ended up with a sub par paint job. Took the car back after the first time they painted it for a total respray and still have clear runs and places where they burnt through the clear while sanding. There is no QA in this place, so if you decide to use them, look over your car closely. Warning - read the reviews of actual customers...not people who visit the shop or talk to them on the phone.

This experience I have had with R&M Performance is very sad. I had high hopes, they have a large shop, seemingly skill-full employees, and exude positive qualities until you deliver the car. They will quote you low. Low to the tune of charging me $19k after an $8k quote. Yes I paid more than double the original quote for work they didn't finish and other work they completed below standard. They will tell you they have space on the calendar and your car will be done quickly. Three months after the original one month quote they still told me to leave the car with them. The job was to install the interior, electric RS headlight doors, repair surface rust to the trunk lid and drip rail, align/repair door windows, install a full stereo system, and more. Now, there were a lot of ankle biters with this build. Mostly laborious job items that take real time to do. The kind that could really take all four hours that you got billed for. I knew that going in and was willing to accept an over reach on the billing and the breakdown on the quoted time allotted. In the end I didn't care about the time or money over-reach so long as it was for a quality product. This was a mistake. I now have a car where the back seat looks like a wadded up pillow with cuts in the material, several new scratches in the cars paint, there is rust still showing in areas I specifically pointed out for repair, window trim that falls off the first time I turn the window knob, headlights that are hidden by the grill bc of misalignment, and the list goes on. During pickup, I could barely contain myself when after I pointed out the rusty bolts on the rear spoiler the tech handed me a can of paint and said well if you want to do it you can with this. He had just painted the trunk by the way. Do not fall for the weekly billing ploy. Every photo they provided me online was fought over on the phone with warnings of bill disputes. Every invoice was sent promptly on Friday's, pay now or we don't work on your car this coming week. My CC was always charged promptly within minutes or hours of my approval to an invoice via email but it took days to return phone calls, emails, and pleas for information on the car. In the end they said it was me, the condition of the car, their lack of information on the build, and even the overtime pay to employees were all to blame for the shoddy workmanship and over-reach of the build. Take your car to them if money and time are no object and you can stand being lied to. Bottom line, I paid for someone to install the interior and I now have to finish installing it at another shop. I paid to have surface rust repaired, this is a restoration shop no less, and now have to take it somewhere else. I paid to have electric RS headlight doors installed in an already RS equipped car and have to get them fixed somewhere else. I pulled my car from them and am so dissatisfied with the work that I am considering selling a car that I have owned for 20 years and love.
