Alvin is amazing! He made it very easy and explained everything to a T. With being a women it’s hard going to auto shops because most men will play you like your dumb. But not Alvin he pointed me in the right direction on fixing the things needed for my car along with fixing it for me. Thank you Alvin !! 10/10

Redhill auto service was fast and efficient. The gentleman who helped me was very friendly. The price for my MD state inspection was very fair.

Came in for my appointment at 1:40 for a MD state inspection and signed in. Someone took the clipboard so I assumed they would be addressing me shorty. At 2:25, I had to leave since I was 45 mins past my appointment time with no communication.

Do not trust this shop. I went on a Tuesday to get my car inspected, and was failed for a false reason. Asked for the issue and was told it was a clicking in my steering wheel even though that was not what was listed on the inspection form. They then proceeded to tell me my whole steering column needed to be replaced and it would cost $1000. I was stunned considering my car had 33k miles on it and no history of breakins or accidents. I went the next day to a more reputable shop and had one mechanic and one mechanic/state certified inspector both test drive and inspect my vehicle. Both agreed I should not have been failed, and that there were no issues with my car. They said that even if there was an issue, the fix should NEVER cost more than $600 considering the part needed would be 100 dollars and labor runs around 500 to fix the issue. I went back to Redhill Auto afterwards and explained that this all seems weird and I needed to be given the exact reason my car didn't pass and a itemized list of what would be replaced for it to pass. All of a sudden the Inspector Alvin was saying now my steering shaft was clearly replaced before and my car shouldn't be driven, not the steering column. From there I was refused an itemized list of what would be fixed and changed. I went back to the more reputable shop once more, and they confirmed again there was nothing wrong with my car. I contacted the state trooper in charge of handling inspection disputes, and today (thursday) he looked at my car after talking to the inspector alvin. My car instantly passed and the state trooper seemed confused why it failed in the first place. After the state trooper left I was made to wait 30 minutes for them to update and print out my approved inspection. If you value respect, integrity, and honesty do not bring your car here.

These guys took my tires off during a MD state inspection today. After returning home I immediately tried to take off my tires to look at my exhaust and fix a leak that was noted. Redhill used a drill to take on and off my tires and they absolutely stripped multiple lug nuts and the rest were at way too much torque. Three of my lug nuts had to be thrown away, one actually got stuck inside a socket and could not be removed even after hitting it against a hammer with a cast iron spike. I literally broke an 18 inch steel wrench trying to get the first tire off, the steel snapped in two. Like this is really ridiculous I haven’t even inspected any of the supposed fixes and I’m out $60 worth of parts and that’s hoping there’s no damage to the thread on the actual wheel screws. The service was mediocre and slow but mostly this has showed me that Redhill Auto either has no respect for the vehicles of their customers or are fundamentally incompetent. I will not be going here again.
