Edit: It took one man torquing an extended breaker bar while the other used an industrial air hammer...And 1 of the lugs broke a socket. Out 9 hours of my time, $2,093.72 (bent torque wrench + damaged wheel + 2 new lugs + mount and balance tire). The quality shop remarked that they have no idea how it is possible for a mechanic to torque the lugs to that place. Again, I have receipts/photos. The level of incompetence is astounding. The first time I got my car back, the oil cooler they replaced was leaking everywhere. The engine oil warning light came on. I made it clear in writing all of what needed to be done to the vehicle. I told the body shop (I was hit by a Geico underinsured motorist) that sent my car to this business that there's no rush and that I'm happy to pay whatever it takes to get the car right. I put in writing that the lug nuts needed to be torqued to spec. (101-103 ft. lbs.). Today I went to take 1 of the wheels they put on the car off. I used penetrating oil, tapped the hex socket (this is what you want to use, not a 12 point that will strip the lug corners) a breaker bar with a 3 ft. pipe extension (total of almost 5') and could not break the lugs free. And bent the breaker bar. I'm a 45 year old male with above average strength. Next I went to a neighbor's house, tapped the socket on to the lug nut and used a top of the line 1/2" Snap-on impact at 175 PSI. This produces somewhere between 1,200 and 1,600 ft. lbs. of nut-breaking torque. IT DIDN'T move a millimeter. There's about 4 people involved between this shop and the body shop and no one is capable of following manufacturer or customer instructions. Or verifying the shoddy work of others even after the "others" have done previous shoddy work. I have documentation of the instructions and receipts if anyone would like to see them before taking their car to this establishment. They've had multiple chances to do things correctly and have proven that they either are not capable, do not care or both. They have no more chances. Whatever manager/owner response that appears is a fools attempt to save face. I was a fool to allow my car to be serviced here. You are too if you read this and still go there. It's not worth risking your life. Do yourself a favor and choose another shop.

I used to take my cars to the Honda dealership but no longer trust them and only trust the guys at Reisterstown Car Care for anything involving our cars. Honda told me my lock was broken and wanted to charge over $600 to fix it, I took it to Reisterstown Car Care to get a second opinion and it was in fact not broken, just not installed properly. Also, I’ve had my brakes done and a new sunroof put in here and they do a fantastic job and are always a pleasure to deal with. Fair pricing and always done in a timely manner. Highly recommend these guys!

Car trailer hitch installed Totally happy with Shawn at RCCC. I brought my new Rav4 in for a trailer hitch and wiring harness install so I was in no rush to get it done. Once the appointment was setup I dropped off the car and it was done the same day with an honest hourly charge. I've previously had another vehicle done there too with no issues and done right.

Excellent service, knowledgeable staff. All four ball joints were bad on my truck. They all had torn boots and one was so bad it was grinding when I turned the steering wheel. It was scary to drive. I was afraid that the front end would fall apart. I got two other estimates. Both were higher and wanted to replace the tie rods too. Both estimates were considerably higher and it was not necessary to replace the tie rods. Reisterstown Car Car Center did the job quickly with quality Moog parts. I am extremely happy with their service and professionalism. Rob runs an excellent business!

No complaints. Car is usually done on time or sooner. Car is never full of grease inside like from other shops who drive cars dirty. Excellent diagnostic abilities, reliable repairs, And very reasonable pricing.. My only complaint is they actually expect me to pay for my repairs after they've been completed!! Lol. The nerve of this business wanting to be paid for the work they did.. J/K. Great Job RCCC. Give them a call next time you need service.
