Disaster of a dealership. BEWARE BEWARE Before this review I have tried many times to communicate with the dealership. They will not communicate. I have contacted a lawyer and even had the Maryland Attorney General along with the MVA investigation division speak with me on this matter. Where do I start? The lying? The fraud? The lack of communication. They have had and are still in a possession of a vehicle I purchased in July. They have had it more than I have. Immediately after the car was purchased the airbag light and engines lights came on within a day. Contacted them immediately and was told to bring it back. It was brought back only for them to keep it for 2 months because they had to “send it out for repair”. After getting the vehicle back, not only was the light still on but it wouldn’t steer properly and was promptly brought back. They claimed it was a faulty power steering hose. Got the car back and was told the airbag light was still on and I needed to take it up with the owner. Funny thing though you can’t get ahold of him and almost every time you call they don’t answer. Leave a voicemail? Well the voicemail box has been full every single time. Fast forward to finally getting ahold of someone and being told to take it to a dealership. The dealership writes the car up for a two page write up. Including a rack and pinion that was replaced and claimed under my purchased warranty without my knowledge. Forged my signature digitally to approve the work and to this date can’t provide a work ticket on their end. That same rack and pinion that Ron’s Automotive installed HAD to be taken back to them because it was already filed under warranty by them. After being told the airbag light was a clock spring issue with the shop they “sent it out to” they couldn’t provide documentation for weeks of that work. After getting the shops name “who did the repair” and calling them it was discovered my vehicle never went there for that repair. So who knows what they did with my car for two months claiming it needed to be sent out. As of today I have called and even sent emails to the owner with not a single response. They still are still in possession of my car which I don’t even want anymore and will be fighting in court at this point. Morale of the story these people are Liars and commit fraud. A quick public database search will actually show you the open cases and closed cases against them. You can search Ron’s Automotive or Carzlane who is the actually owner of Ron’s Automotive now Save yourself the misery and find a reputable place that actually cares and understands customer service. Lastly, these comments about Ray being a great service manager are very misleading. This is the same Ray who hung the phone up on me when asking for an update, could never provide an answer or work ticket on services performed, claimed he was leaving in two weeks back in December and didn’t care anymore (still employed there) and never answers the phone.

STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!! I purchased a pickup truck and traded in my SUV on Nov 6th. It’s now January 20th and you still have not paid off my trade-in and now owe me 2 months, soon to be 3 months in car payments. I get excuses like “Z isn’t here. Z is praying. Z is preparing for a wedding.” Z appears to be the only person who can resolve my issue and can never be located by his staff. I have purchased nearly 10 cars in my lifetime and had little to no issues with other dealers. This is THEFT. This is FRAUD. This is WRONG. I will go to the police. I will go to the media. I will find everyone else who’s been conned by this place and will have you shut down.

This has been the worse experience with buying a vehicle. The price listed and confirmed by the sales man at 18,500 and was even listed on the site for that price they tried to make it for 21,500 on the paper thank gosh I caught it but still they wouldn’t give the price that it was to be in the beginning so then they asked to meet half way and said they would do the under seal so I agreed. The under seal coat was half ass done and not worth it getting even done. Now the tag that we have called about and asked about is still not in and we only have two weeks left until the temporary one expires. I still have to go back in for the 6th time because more paper work was forgotten and not taken care of. Their excuse is people quit and we are learning, well then I feel if that’s the case then they should not be selling cars until people are aware of the proper process and all that is needed to sell a vehicle! It is such a run around and a poor management and lack of communication. The owner is never there! This business is a major joke! DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!

In July of 2023 I purchased a white used 2016 Land Rover LR4. It was a complete lemon although I did everything one should do when buying a used car. I was told they had the car serviced by Land Rover in Timonium. I called the dealership and they confirmed. Later I found out it was a lie. A day into me receiving the car, the engine light came on. I took it to the mechanic and none of the work they said was completed was done. Keep in mind, you can do all the due diligence in the world but it hard to compete with outright lies.

My wife and I drove down from New York to Ron’s on Saturday . We called in the morning and Ricardo was very helpful and I expressed my concern about the drive and the car being available. They assured me the car would be there, as I explained several disappointing visits with other dealers in NJ. When I arrived they were waiting for us and the car was parked in front, a red carpet feeling. They quickly introduced themselves and it was a very family environment. You don’t feel that pressure when you usually visit a regular dealership. Everyone was great especially the father and son team. They were great and I would definitely drive four hours again if I have to purchase another car. The icing on the cake is that they were fair, with my trade in and made everything headache and stress free. My wife and I are super happy with everything, especially with both our financing and car. My 2018 Ford Mustang it was a dream come true and over 15 years in the making to have my dream come true and Ron’s made it even easier for us. Thank You guys.
