Someone recommended these guys for working on my JDM. I went to them, told them what I wanted and the guy said he was super confident with working on my car. After going to these guys to get a coolant change, now I have a coolant leak. Don’t trust these guys even if someone you know had a good experience. They don’t know what they’re doing and they aren’t professional. We agreed on a cost and then he almost doubled it later. I was too frustrated and didn’t argue (another regret) We’ve had to redo almost every single thing these guys did to our car because everything was done so badly we almost got stranded in the middle of nowhere. They did not even put a clamp on the hoses correctly. The coolant flush was not at all done correctly. This was an absolute waste of time and money. The mechanic Also did not put 2 of the bolts back (I’m guessing out of pure laziness) and we were shocked to find that out. Many classic import cars have bolts that are hard to find and take forever to arrive and that is where we are now. It also they took a lot longer to get our car back and they did not tell me. I took the day off early to pickup the car, they lied and it was not ready so I had to take off early another day.

I have dealt with Mr. Joon for a while, and what I can say is that he has zero respect for his customers. I brought my vehicle in for an A/C condenser replacement, and I asked if he would change the vacuum line as well, to which he said it was not necessary, once the condenser was replaced, I noticed the A/C was still not blowing cold air, he had his mechanic look into it again and found the vacuum needed to be cleaned, and told me that he would not charge me for labor for it since it was his mistake. When I went to pick up the car he argued and since I don't like confrontation, I paid him and left. Another time my spark plug was bad and I asked for a tune up, when I went to pick up the car, the total was only $100, so I paid and told him that was a good price, I then asked if all the spark plugs were changed, to which he awkwardly responded that he only replaced the one that was bad.......... I couldn't believe it. He also does not bleed the brakes when he changes them, another shop had to tell what my problem was because after he changed my brakes, I was still having issues, and he could not figure it out. The straw that broke the camels back for me was when I missed an appointment, and when I tried to reschedule, he ignored me and kept telling me to call back, to which I did, and he then finally yells at me like a child and tells me how I missed a single appointment and hangs up...... I have never dealt with such an unprofessional shop, and I will never give any money to his business again. There are some great shops out there that do not cut corners, and treat their customers with respect. But if you're looking for a shop that is cheap and does not warranty their work, or give good service, Mr. Joon is your man. Caveat emperor, be sure to know what the issue is with your car and what needs to be replaced, because he and his mechanics will take the easiest route and will not do the full service necessary if they can avoid it.

Took the car in for emissions diagnostics. They charged me $100 for fuel injection cleaner and $250 for labor. They said that they also changed a sensor, but when I took the car in for another inspection, it failed for the same reason (due to the sensor). I was in a rush when I picked the car up and didn't read the breakout of the costs completely AND MR YOON HAD THE "WORK DONE" BEFORE GETTING MY APPROVAL ON THE COST/PRICE. Also, he said that the check engine light had "come back on" and he did not tell is folks to turn it off. Now I am thinking that he did absolutely no work on the vehicle. Filing a BBB complaint today!

Took my car in for emissions work. They did the work without telling me how much it will cost, it was $550 and the check engine light was on when I came to pick it up and they refused to turn it off cuz it automatically fails when you go through emissions inspection. The owner said don't worry you can get a waiver but I only got an extension for one month because I requested extensions from the MVA over the past year...... When I look at the reason why it failed they clearly did not address obvious areas to address and after $550 I still have a problem. Owner is abrupt and rude and so is staff.
