I recently bought a 2014 Shelby GT 500 and for the first month it rode like a Beast but then I started having issues like overheating and just not acting right. It does have a tune on it for performance and I told all the shops this before I took it to a couple different places I’ve used before but they kept trying to guess what the issue was and kept selling me this part and that part to no avail as the check engine light kept coming on so I took it to the dealer who sold me a new PCM- Powertrain control module and it drove home ok but the next day not only did the check engine light come on but so did the yellow wrench which you pretty much never want to see. It basically means stop the car and have it towed or you could do some severe damage to your engine. I had it towed back to the dealer who then installed new plugs and ignition coils and of course the check engine light came on again so I’m like screw this , I have to find someone who knows what the hell they’re doing! Luckily I have an extended warranty so I just had to pay my deductible, $100. If I didn’t have the warranty it would’ve cost me close to $10,000. So I did a google search and came across this company, RSPDMV. I gave a call and told them what’s happening and they said to come in. When I got there I told the owner James about the PCM and as soon as I opened the hood he saw right away what the issue was, evidently the car has bigger fuel injectors and the mechanic at the dealer didn’t know this even though I sent the service guy a screenshot of all the performance parts in the vehicle and he(mechanic) didn’t configure this into the PCM. So James pulled out his laptop and plugged it into my car and did the necessary configurations and then installed a newer better tune than I had before and now my car runs like the Beast she was built to be. I’m super happy with the way my car is now running and wish I had found this place first as I could’ve saved a S load of money and a whole lotta stress!! People like me, non mechanics need to know people like the owner James so we get things done right the first time. James and his crew are honest and are mechanical geniuses as well as wizards with the computer systems that are within cars these days. My car has never run better! I want to thank James and his crew on a job well done and I’ll be bringing my other vehicles here when the need arises

James at RSP is one of the most stand‑up guys in the industry. He’s tuned multiple cars for me and always treated me like a friend, not just a customer. His passion, honesty, and attention to detail are unmatched. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my cars.

James and the guys working at his garage were nothing but friendly and helpful. I went there with tuning problems from another shop and he fixed it with ease . They welcome any questions and have endless answers, I couldn’t recommend this shop more. I will never bring my hellcat anywhere else but RSPDMV.

Stay far away from this shop. I brought in my 5,000-mile vehicle and they secretly swapped in a used radiator that was already leaking. They sent me back to NJ with it and never said a word. When I confronted them, the owner promised to make it right with a boost a pump and fuel rails if I bought and replaced the radiator myself — since it made no sense for me to drive all the way back down just to swap a radiator. That was over a year ago. I’ve been more than patient, giving them chance after chance, but they’ve done nothing. The owner ignores every call, text, and message. I’m tired of waiting, which is why I’m finally writing this review. This is flat-out dishonest and unprofessional. They break parts, cover it up, and don’t honor their own promises. Don’t risk your car or your money here.

I can't say enough about James and RSPDMV. I was having nothing but trouble with the tune and performance with my Trackhawk and within an hour of remote tuning and immediately noticing some areas that needed attention it was already another animal. We've only just begun, and I can't wait to get it all squared away and ripping up the streets. He's dedicated to his work, and it shows. I'm looking forward to what's next.
