We were travelling from the northern VA area to Oklahoma for a big bass tournament when all of a sudden we started loosing air pressure in one of our truck tires. Stopped and tried to fix it ourselves with a plug to no avail. We called around and the first 3 shops we contacted were either too busy or just plain rude. Then we found Smitty's, which was only 8 miles away. We arrived and were immediately put into a bay. We didn't even have to unhook the boat which was a plus. Four Smitty's employees went to town on our tire. This is some of the best customer service and professionalism I have ever experienced. We were even asked if we wanted the spare put back up under the truck. They dismounted the tire, plugged it with a patch/plug from the inside, mounted and balanced the tire, and then put it back on, tightening the lug nuts to the proper torque values (actually used a torque wrench). We were on our way back down the road for Oklahoma whithin what had to be less than 30 minutes. Oustanding service and the price was way less than expected. If you ever have any tire issues while traveling down I-64, definitely give these guys/gals a call.

One of our fleet trucks start leaking coolant badly, so we had to get off the I-68 around Frostburg almost at 5pm. Called Smitty's shop to check if they are still open and can look into the truck, mr Chris was kind enough to wait for truck to get there, even thou they were closing for tonight. Technician checked and found out radiator got a crack and leaking. But since it was almost 5:30pm, they were already closed and couldn't work on the truck tonight. They still allowed my driver fill his water tanks and did not charged us at all. We appreciate your kindness mr Chris and wish you all the goodness. We definitely recommend this shop and the fine people who work there. Thank you all for you kindness and understanding.

We were stranded with a flat on New Years Day. Smitty’s came out to the gas station we’d limped into and replaced our F350 dually tire on site. We are so grateful for these guys—having our tire in stock AND saving us on a holiday. Give them a call—you won’t be disappointed.

Had a tire emergency and needed a value stem replacement on our travels from New Jersey out to Kentucky. Called and spoke with Bart who was both knowledgeable and accommodating. Finzel chicken coop now has the ability to check tire pressure when rolling through. Got caught with a flat. Smitty’s was here within an hour. Worked quickly to fix the tire and get me rolling. Definitely recommend if needing service in western MD.
