Per the advice of my mother, who was a previous customer, I stopped in for a pre-trip inspection before a very lengthy road trip. I was the first to arrive (before the shop opened), as I wanted to be in and out as quickly as possible. The young lady at the front desk assisted me and informed me that the service required full payment upfront. Now, for many businesses, this would be a red flag. But given the nature of this particular establishment, along with its solid reputation, I was completely OK with this. You've heard of "dine and dash," involving people who eat and skip out on their bill, so I'm sure that this business didn't want to deal with people who "drive and dash." Anyway.... The mechanic started working on my vehicle immediately and was extremely thorough. Shortly thereafter, I had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Mr. John, when he entered the sitting area/lobby. I asked if he was the owner because he just had that commanding presence that most owners possess & I wanted to speak with him directly. I informed Mr. John about why I came to his shop and truly appreciated the time and care he put into servicing my vehicle to ensure that it was safe. He told me that he could tell I took care of it and that for its age, it was in great shape. Mr. John even went the extra mile (see what I did there, haha) and showed me some things that were worn and would eventually need repair. This was great info, not only so I know what to expect for a future visit to my local auto repair shop but also because I decided to have some of the work performed that same day. I felt it was wise to get it out of the way and not have to worry about anything breaking while on the road. Mr. John even told me to call once I arrived at my destination, which further proved that he genuinely cares about his customers and takes great pride in his work. I called the following week and let the young lady at the service desk know that my trip was smooth!

Words cannot express how wonderful my experience with South County went. I came in as a walk-in for what I thought was just going to be for an alignment for my car. I walked inside and was greeted by Mrs. Deana. She is so beautiful, funny, sweet, and kind and she is great at what she does. Such a godly woman and extremely down to earth. Thank you for your loyalty to Mr. John. She was able to consult with Mr. John, who is the owner of the establishment. Mr. John is a good, godly, and humble man who has heart for people and tries his very best to work with them. He assures them that if you trust him that he will be able to take care of you! But you gotta trust the process. He's Got You! After my consultation he notified me that I would need 4 new tires on top of the alignment. Initially I was worried because of the money. I even had to ask my aunt for some reinforcement. His pricing was extremely reasonable compared to if I took it to where I originally was going to go. His mechanics were also very skilled, kind, and each one of them greeted me and had such wonderful dispositions about them. They all work extremely hard to provide top quality service here and Mr. John oversees and works with them. He isn't just some boss who sits in the office he gets 'hands-on' too. Just have patience with them because they will have patience with you. All in all, Mr. John is an honest man with an honest enterprise. This is truly one of his many passions and he is anointed at what he does. He's more than a mechanic that fixes cars. In the natural he is fixing cars but its deeper -its spiritual! When I left a part of my soul and self-worth was fixed. He has wise counsel and joyful man. He is different in every way. Thank you, Mr. John, for giving me encouragement and some life lessons and teaching me about my car things I did know before! Thank you, Mrs. Deana, for your beautiful smile and sweet spirit and personality of yours and making feel comfortable and at ease while I waited! Thank you to all the mechanics for having Mr. Johns back and taking care of my car with such efficiency and not rushing. Yall come to South County and see for yourself! This is a respectable business, and you won't regret it!

I had my coolant tank replaced on my Audi A6 and I couldn’t be happier with the service. The mechanic was honest, straightforward, and really took the time to explain what needed to be done. He didn’t try to upsell anything unnecessary, which I really appreciated. The price was very reasonable compared to other shops I checked, and the work was done quickly and professionally. Everything is running smoothly now. Highly recommend if you’re looking for honest work and fair pricing!thank you🤩

I was referred to South County Auto Repair I arrived early before they open, was greeted was told to come in, explained my problem. I received a call with their findings. My car work was done also with additional very small part repaired as. Mr John is straight forward and honest in his work. I recommend his business to everyone.

They were nice on the phone when I asked to come in for the alignment. Unfortunately if you have a big truck do not bring it here there machine is too small. They were going to charge me 159 to align it. But told me to call Certfied Alignment who did it for 120.
