SSI is a fantastic place to get high performance auto repairs, maintenance, inspections, and upgrades done. I had fluids changed on a 993 Carrera, and belts changed, as well as a new set of tires installed. Bridges Detailing is also onsite and does AMAZING work. Reach out in advance to check availability. There is even a Paintless Dent Repair guy ( Ryan w/ CARS Mobile Services) who came over and repaired a bed side dent on my truck while we were loading and unloading cars... UNBELIEVABLE results as well. Thank you to All for the great service... 👍 👌

Made an appointment, took my car here, and they did an oil change while I waited. Didn't waste my time and didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need. Very knowledgeable independent Porsche shop that I will be happy to return to when I'm due again.

SSI was suggested by my friend Nick after I confirmed to him how expensive BMW service was at the dealerships in Baltimore. I am very happy with their service and visited them many times over the past few years. The customer service and technicians are friendly and do quality work at less than the dealer cost. They don’t try to have you do maintenance that is not needed. Now I have a Porsche Macan and I am taking it to SSI for service. I like the fact that I can speak directly to the person servicing my car.

Professional, Competent and Great People All around excellent service from SSI. I have used several shops during the course of my ownership and they are the only technicians that were able to identify a problem with the installation of a suspension component. Everyone else made excuses as to why the car could not be setup the way it should have been. All of the other shops held themselves out as high quality race/track prep facilities. Very frustrating. SSI was able to get the car setup properly. I am extremely happy with how the car has turned out. Out at the track, they went out of their way to help my friend locate, deliver and install brake pads so he would not miss drive time. He isn't even a regular customer! Sloan and crew are a great team.

My 911's transmission (a PDK) had a problem and wouldn't reverse. I pulled the error code and initially I thought it was a well documented sensor problem which requires quite an expensive procedure to replace that sensor inside the transmission. There are not a lot of shops that have the expertise to do that repair and SSI is one of them. Sloan diagnosed it to be something else and got my car back on the road for much less than what I originally anticipated. I appreciate his honesty - he could have went ahead with the sensor replacement anyway which would be a bigger job and more money for him but he gave me his honest opinion and steered me towards the lower cost option. His knowledge with the 911/Cayman is excellent - he is familiar and has experience with various aftermarket modifications, and was able to give good advices on how to best maintain and enhance these cars. The only minor problem was his shop was pretty busy and it took some time for him to get to my car. But I guess they are busy because they are good at what they do, so really not much can be done about that...
