Su Tran had an auto shop in DC before coming to Gaithersburg. He's an honest person. Unfortunately he retired. Hope the new owner will keep the good reputation. I'm still bring my car to this shop and keep my finger crossed.

Dishonest and untrustworthy auto shop My cousin bought a brand-new car. About six months ago, he wanted to do the first engine oil change at 1,500 miles. He bought the oil and filter himself and asked me to take the car in for him. I went to ST Auto. They agreed to do the oil change for $25, as I had brought the oil and filter. A Vietnamese mechanic there took my car to the back to do the service. I don’t know much about cars, so I just waited. After a short while, they said it was done, and I left. At the next oil change, my cousin decided to do it himself. He found that the original factory oil filter was still on the car. That means this auto shop took the oil, took the filter, and took the money, but never actually changed the oil. My cousin said it probably didn’t harm the car much, but this clearly shows how dishonest this place is. It’s unbelievable they would ruin their reputation for just $70. Terrible place. Never coming back.

I have been coming to Mr Tran and his team for about two years. The auto repair industry is one that is often hard to trust. Thus far, Mr Tran and his team appear to be truly knowledgeable and honest. I have not been disappointed by any service I have had here. Straight to the point and timely. Thank you!

My uncle Paul,Pini recommended I come for an oil change. I was so impressed and happy with the service. I got a free twix, was given a unbeatable price, fair and honest work and tire pressure check cherry on top. It is a rare gem to have an experience so smooth and I really appreciate the hard work and service. Be blessed, I'll be back !

My 2007 Honda CRV was having issues starting…I was in and out of another shop getting different parts replaced while my car was very unreliable. My friend recommended Su Tran the owner of ST Auto and he was able to find the root cause of the issue and fix it!! He did not try to sell me on anything extra. My car has not had any issues starting since St Auto fixed it. I’ve been back to them now for fixing my brake lights and an oil change and I have been in and out for those routine fixes very quickly. They are so honest and trustworthy—everyone I’ve met! My highest recommendation for ST Auto—they really are the SAINTS of auto!!
