An Out-of-This-World Experience at Sterling Auto Service and Body Shop – Silver Spring, MD Dear Antonio, I am compelled to share what I can only describe as an extraordinary experience with Sterling Auto Service and Body Shop — one that far exceeded every expectation I’ve ever had of an auto repair shop. First and foremost, the moment you walk through the door, you feel the warmth of a true family-owned and operated business. That spirit of genuine care is felt in every interaction, from the very first phone call to the final handshake at pick-up. I’ve visited many auto body shops over the years, so when an unexpected accident left my beloved BMW 550Xi damaged, I was absolutely devastated. Choosing the right shop to entrust with such a vehicle was not a decision I took lightly. From my very first conversation with Antonio, his attention to detail, professionalism, and sincere respect put my mind at ease. It was those qualities — along with the trust he immediately inspired — that made my decision clear. The entire repair journey was seamless and stress-free. I had an excellent experience with Sterling Auto after a collision damaged my front bumper. They were not initially on my insurance’s preferred list of body shops, but my BMW dealership highly recommended them, so I decided to give them a call anyway. After speaking with Antonio, I was immediately convinced. He is the epitome of professionalism and clearly very knowledgeable. I called my insurance company (Erie Insurance) and insisted that the repairs be done by Sterling, even though they weren’t on the preferred list. They agreed, and I am extremely glad I went that route. From start to finish, the process was smooth. Antonio gave me a tour of the facility when I dropped off the car and walked me through exactly how everything would work. He communicated regularly, kept me updated throughout the repair, and made sure genuine BMW parts were used. He even helped coordinate the rental process with Enterprise, which made things much easier. The quality of the repair was excellent, and the customer service was outstanding. I highly recommend Sterling Auto to anyone looking for professional, high-quality body work.

Mr. Antonio and his team are the epitome of high-level customer service and professionalism. From the time I arrived at his shop, I received the white glove treatment. He then gave me a tour of the facilities so that I had a full understanding of what his team would be doing to my car. He gave me frequent updates throughout the process and set very realistic expectations. This was the first time I had damage to a vehicle in over a decade, but as an insurance agent, I witness firsthand what my clients go through at average auto body shops. Sterling Auto Service & Body Shop is by far one of the best service facilities in the state of Maryland. From start to finish, the Sterling Auto Body team made my repair service a wonderful experience. I was involved in a hit and run, I thought I needed a simple headlight replacement—but they discovered additional damages. Not only did they complete the repairs early, they went the extra mile to make sure I got the best deals for parts. My BMW looks brand new.
