Sullivan’s Virginia Avenue Shell Service Center has always treated me right. Oil changes, repairs, you name it — fast, fair, and done correctly. The team is friendly, knowledgeable, and easy to trust. It’s hard to find shops like this anymore. Highly recommend!

My family has been dealing with the shop for at least ten years through numerous vehicles. Friendly mechanics and the guys take time to explain the repairs needed.

This place doesn't even deserve one star. I brought my car in for a coolant leak repair, and they not only failed to fix it, but they actually made the leak significantly worse. Instead of offering any kind of compensation or even a discount, they wanted me to pay for another overpriced repair. To top it off, when I came to pick up my car, there was a literal puddle of coolant under it! The customer service was just as bad; I was treated like a nuisance instead of a paying customer. Do yourself a favor and go to a different mechanic. And if you ignore this warning and still go here, at least buy your own parts to avoid getting ripped off with their insane markups. Ended up paying $80 for a $30 hose and $120 for a $20 thermostat absolutely ridiculous.

Sullivan's is without a doubt the most honest auto repair garage in the Hagerstown area. Get an honest estimate and a quick repair by experienced mechanics. Ralph F.

Wow! I can't say enough great things about Sullivan's Virginia Ave, Shell. Danny is honest! (I have a 2005 Hyundai Elantra that has not had consistent maintenance (my fault) I needed break work and he gave me a price, but he had a look on his face, I asked him what was the look. He said I can fix the break issue, but there is maintenance that needs done on you car now, and if you don't do it, the timing belt could go at any moment and the break job will have been for nothing. The repairs were expensive but way less than a new-used car. I picked up my car yesterday, and it feels like I'm driving a new car. If you want honesty, go see Danny Sullivan. Ask him the questions you're afraid to ask... he will be honest. He's a good man. He's been working on my car on and off for about 8 years.... the same car!
