A+ work by the service center. I was having an issue with my phone not connecting. I stopped by Saturday morning and Cheryl helped me out. She looked at the car and brought the service tech Angel out. He hooked the computer to the car and reset the firmware. 15 minutes later I’m back on the road and everything is perfect. Angel was amazing. He treated me with respect and taught me a few things about the car. Cheryl and Angel are one of the best people I have interacted with. Thank you to both of you. Have a great weekend.

I’ve generally had positive experiences with Tesla, which makes this situation all the more frustrating. Over a two-month period, I experienced four separate instances of critical 12V battery warnings instructing me to pull over immediately due to the risk of vehicle shutdown. Despite multiple service visits, tows, and repeated assurances that the issue had been resolved, the root cause was not identified until the fourth occurrence. Even more concerning was the way the situation was handled. I repeatedly had to push for basic accommodations such as rental transportation and tow coverage for a recurring, safety-related issue. Communication was poor throughout, and during the most recent incident I did not receive even the courtesy of a call from the service manager. Ultimately, the issue was traced to a short in the defroster system—something that should have been identified far earlier. This experience reflected serious breakdowns in diagnosis, escalation, and customer care. Given the safety implications, particularly when being instructed multiple times to pull over due to a potential vehicle shutdown, the level of service provided fell well short of what I expect from Tesla.

I really wanted to have a good experience, drop off was fine, the wait was fine, the amenities were fine, what was not fine was the service performed to the car. Work to car was front wheel fender trim replacement, HEPA filter change, front camera cleaning, and radiator cleaning (almost all preventative maintenance). Fender trim replacement - not installed correctly and popped off car, walked back into service center and the guy who was checking people in came outside and wacked it into place. Front camera clean - was clean, but my windshield tint was badly scratched. HEPA & Radiator cleaning - I pray they did these right, but I have little confidence when it rained after my service my wipers no longer came on. Nothing would get them on and now I am waiting for rescheduled service to have them looked at. I hope this is a fluke it just feels like I received really bad service, they literally did nothing correctly.

Since 2019, I have owned three Teslas: a Model S in 2019, a Model X in 2021, and a Cybertruck in 2024. Over the past six years, I have visited multiple service centers, experiencing varying levels of service quality. However, my recent encounter with Richard, the service advisor, and Nick, the technician, at the Ownings Mills center was exceptional and the most satisfactory experience I have had at Tesla. Both Richard and Nick demonstrated competence and professionalism throughout the process. The light bar, which had been experiencing numerous delays, was installed flawlessly. As I am responsible for completing the electrical work myself, Nick’s instructions were clear and easy to follow. In conclusion, I highly recommend the Tesla service center in the Washington Metropolitan region. When you visit, please request Richard and the service technician Nick. You will receive exceptional care and have your repairs completed accurately. I cannot recommend them more highly.
