The auto barn severely damaged my car while towing it and is refusing to speak to me about what they did. Do not trust them. My car was towed by The Auto Barn and I showed up about 30 mins after they towed my car. They’re charged me $330 to retrieve my car. I walked around their entire lot to find my car and couldn’t find it. This is when they told me that while transporting my car to their lot, the driver failed to restrain my car and it fell off the truck while he was turning and smashed into FOUR other cars. My car was towed around 9:30pm. I didn’t not get my car back until after 11:30pm. I was told the driver of the tow truck took pictures of the accident and they would be sent to me (this is yet to happen). I was told to call the next day to discuss what had happen as the manager was “unavailable” at the time of the incident. I called the next day and he had nothing to say besides I need to reach out to their insurance company and file a claim against them. I’ve called back numerous times to get the pictures and have emailed the manager twice. The last time I called I was told no managers were available. At this point I’m being ignored. Do not trust this company with your car. Their insurance company is also sending me straight to voicemail. It’s been two days and I’m still without a drivable car and the auto barn is refusing to cooperate or make things right. Edit: they’ve now changed their story and are claiming a ghost car hit my car while being towed and their insurance is refusing to accept liability. So now I’m screwed. Also I called and asked to speak to a manager and was told the manager was out on the road. I called back two minutes later with my insurance agent and was put on the phone with a a manager immediately. So obviously they will lie to you to avoid responsibility. Run away from these people. If they damage your car, record everything. They will change their story to get out of it.

The Auto Barn, Inc. in Baltimore is a complete nightmare. These people are absolutely insane—they treat customers like walking dollar signs and nothing more. Their only goal is to drain your wallet as fast as they can, with zero honesty, zero respect, and zero accountability. Every interaction feels like a trap. They don’t care about fixing problems, they care about creating new ones just so they can charge you more. Integrity? Nonexistent. Customer service? A joke. Fairness? Forget it. It’s not just bad business—it’s predatory. They talk down to you, dismiss your concerns, and act like they’re doing you a favor while robbing you blind. I walked away feeling scammed, humiliated, and furious. If you value your hard-earned money, your peace of mind, and your basic dignity—stay far, FAR away from The Auto Barn, Inc. They are the definition of everything wrong with shady auto shops.

The worst towing company ever, Amy, the night dispatcher is so rude, charged for 4.5 hours for job that's been done within 3 hours overcharged and rude people and scammers while negotiating, they forced the driver to give card numbers and charged whatever they wanted

These guys got our truck towed in the evening, and fixed the next afternoon, couldn’t be any happier. Honest and straight to the point. Thank you!
