I don’t write too many reviews, but after doing my research looking for a transfer case for my GMC Yukon, I came across The Gear Shop — and all I can say is, I’m glad I found them! I received great technical support from Ricky Gibson. He answered all my questions, verified the part number before I placed the order, explained what was included in the plastic crate, and went over the warranty in detail. Shipping was reasonably fast — I had it sent directly to my transmission shop here in New York. It’s now installed in my truck and running smooth like new again! I needed a new transfer case for my 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Mine was starting to make a lot of noise at 201,000 miles. I did a lot of online research checking all the companies that sell rebuilt transfer cases. The Gear Shop had the best price by far. And lots of positive reviews. So I ordered one of their transfer cases. I worked with Paul, who was very knowledgeable. He knew exactly what I needed and shipped it out. Shipping was very fast via UPS. The new unit came in a special high-impact plastic case. I had my local repair shop install the new transfer case, and they said they had no problems with the swap. A return shipping label was included in the price so I sent back my old transfer case and the Gear Shop got it with no problem. My new rebuilt transfer case is so quiet my Jeep drives like a new vehicle. I highly recommend the Gear Shop, and especially Paul.

Ordered up a T-Case for my 2006 Duramax. These guys were super helpful in making sure I had the correct T-Case. I also let them know right away that my case was cracked right behind the transmission. They said they would check it out and might not charge me a core. I would recommend these guys without a doubt. Easy to put the old unit back in their shipping crate and use the prepaid UPS label to send it back to them.

Ordered a Transfer case on a Friday, and immediately I was having seconds thoughts and considering calling them to confirm I would get the correct one. Within 20 minutes of placing my online order, I received a call from Paul to confirm everything over the phone. He said it will be shipping out on Tuesday, (it was late in the day on Friday when I had ordered) and that it would be delivered on Thursday. It is now Thursday night, my new case is installed and is working great! It was delivered in a sturdy plastic case for an extremely easy core return. 10/10 best experience I've ever had ordering parts online. I will only be using this company for all my future projects, extremely streamlined and I have great peace of mind knowing they did a great job rebuilding the new case I have just based off of that.
