Once again Mitch and his team did an amazing job with my vehicle. If you are in need of an auto body repair shop, check out the crew at VP.

In September 2023 I got into a minor vehicle collision on the Baltimore Beltway involving the passenger side of my 1998 Chevrolet Camaro. I reached out to a friend in the automobile collision industry for recommendations of where to go for repairs and he recommended VP Auto Collision. After checking reviews online I scheduled a meeting with the owner, Mitch, to go over the estimate I received from my insurance company. On October 11, 2023 I had a very brief meeting with Mitch to go over the estimate and scheduled drop-off after the winter season for March 13, 2024. On February 20, 2024 I sent an e-mail to Mitch to confirm my scheduled drop off date of March 13 and never received a response. I then contacted VP Auto Collision via telephone on March 5 and spoke with Mary Jane to confirm my scheduled drop off date and was told they have a new policy they do not work on vehicles older than 20 years old as of March 1st but since I was pre-scheduled they would honor it. After dropping my car off on March 13 I checked back in on April 2 for an update for the repair process and spoke with Mary-Jane and received a very vague update on the car. It wasn't until April 12 I heard from Mary-Jane again. She informed me that they found additional damage that needed to be repaired and needed authorization before proceeding and thought Mitch was going to be contacting me further about the car. while on the phone I immediately authorized the additional costs needed to repair. Once again I didn't receive an update on the car until May 2 when Mitch called me to go over some additional things. While on the phone he told me things with the estimate changed and instead of repairing pieces the estimate outlined he was going to replace some items and needed additional time to repair door moldings. I expressed my understanding things change with repairing vehicles with Mitch over the telephone but also expressed my displeasure about how the customer was left out and not informed about the changes. Mitch was understanding in my frustration and apologetic and within 15min sent me an e-mail with updated photos of my car. Once again I immediately authorized the additional costs needed to repair. Finally I heard from Mary-Jane on May 10 my vehicle was complete and ready for pick-up. I asked to speak with Mitch over the phone and at the time he was in the office unavailable, I informed Mary-Jane that I would be picking up my car May 13. Mitch then sent me another e-mail with additional updated photos of my car and said "We'll see you Monday." I arrived at VP to pick up my car on May 13 and found it sitting UNLOCKED in front of their shop, luckily before I dropped the car off I removed everything out of the interior of the car. I walked in and met with a very overworked Mary-Jane to finish the paperwork and expressed my displeasure at how my vehicle was left unlocked in front of their shop for who knows how long. She handed me my keys and I went on my way, never once did anyone from VP review the repairs completed to make sure I was satisfied. When I got into my vehicle to leave I found the battery was dead. I opened the hood to jumpstart the battery and found the entire engine bay COVERED in body shop dust with not even an effort to wipe down. An employee from VP brought a jumpbox outside and I got my car started and looked to exit the parking lot and found large scratches through my window tint on the passenger side window. Once I got home to fully check over the vehicle I found two minor blemishes under the handle in the paint, random 'goo' on my passenger seat, body shop tape still in my passenger side door jam, and a push-pin missing from my passenger side fender. TLDR; this is a smaller production shop, repaired my vehicle decently but would benefit from a better quality control process, good luck trying to get in contact with them

Mitch and Maryjane at VP Auto Collision were very accommodating and professional in handling my repairs. They were very considerate in dealing with a difficult claim. The work was completed to my satisfaction. Maryjane is the best.

V P Auto did a great job painting my hardtop and matching the 23 year old paint. The customer service is fantastic since they will walk you through everything that needs to be done to produce the best product. I plan on coming here for all of my autobody needs in the future.
