I want to recognize an exceptional service experience at the Volvo Cars of Bethesda Service Center. I am a longtime Volvo owner—ten Volvos in total—dating all the way back to Marten’s on Wisconsin Avenue. While my last three Volvos have been leased through Silver Spring Volvo, I have always chosen to have my vehicles serviced at Volvo Cars of Bethesda Service Center, even before the move to Butler Road. Recently, my new tags arrived for my 2026 Volvo XC60. I called ahead and was told I could stop by to have them installed without an appointment. When I arrived, I was informed I would need to wait because the car would have to be taken into the garage. Unfortunately, I had my dog with me, which made waiting difficult. At that moment, a staff member named Jason happened to be walking by and simply said, “I can do it.” And he did, cheerfully, efficiently, and without hesitation. Not only did he install the new tags, but he also had to put a bracket on the front of my car, something I would never have been able to do myself. This kind of service is what makes me feel truly valued as a Volvo owner. Jason’s willingness to step in and help, entirely unprompted, reinforced exactly why I continue to come back and why I remain committed to the Volvo brand. Thank you, Jason. You deserve a round of applause. And please know that Volvo Cars of Bethesda Service Center has my loyalty for life because of people like Jason.

This is the only service center in the DMV I actually ENJOY bringing my car to. The team here is incredibly attentive, honest, and diligent. I’ve trusted them with everything from routine maintenance to those rare, stressful issues that pop up out of nowhere. The work is consistently sound, and I’ve never had a repeat issue occur after a visit. It is a huge relief to know the job is done right the first time. Tanner, an advisor here, is a total standout. He is professional, communicative, and goes above and beyond to make sure you're taken care of. Last week, I called them pretty nervous after my check engine light came on without any warning messages from the car. Despite being busy, they squeezed me in on short notice just to assuage my fears. This location prioritizes building genuine relationships with customers; I have only ever felt like honest work was being done at a fair price. It helps l always leave with a fresh wash too

Do not do regular service here - it’s price gouged. Brought my car in at 20k miles for its 4y service and was quoted $400. Was charged $500, including $12 in waste fees and $40 in “shop supplies” - all not quoted. Never going back.

I just bought my Volvo this week from another dealership, but brought it to Ourisman in Bethesda for a recall. This was the only service center with availability in the time frame I needed. My experience was great! Malcolm made sure that my vehicle was getting everything done that it was due for and coordinated a Lyft for me home and back in the afternoon to pick up the car. Besides a loaner vehicle, I couldn't ask for more. There are a few Volvo dealers between my house and this one, but I will definitely be bringing my car there in the future.

Poor service, dishonest. You send your car there and it comes back even more broken. Brough my car for water drip, pay ton of money to have even more water pouring inside the car. Lying about my complaint being review by the shop owner, when actually nothing is going on. That’s the technique, lie, until customers get exhausted. Every time your car goes there, check carefully and you will see something broken in the car. Avoid this shop.
