I took a 1996 Ram truck in to get it Md. State inspected. The truck had about 75000 original mileage and has years of paperwork on oil changes etc. They said both bumpers had rust and rust on back brakes and tires had flat spots where it sat for a few months. They gave a bill of around $900. I paid for the inspection first and then it was explained about the things wrong with it. When I said I can take it to someone else then they said "Oh wait,, isn't the truck Historic?? Oh,, you don't even need in inspection for a Historic vehicle!!" Welk I believe they should have said that before they inspected the truck instead of after the whole ordeal. That was $150.00 I could have saved.

The owner was very professional and pleasant. I took my vehicle here for Maryland state inspection. After the inspection, the owner took me around the vehicle and pointed out what was wrong. I was very impressed because he took the time to show me that he cares about his customers and quality of service. Some shops don't take the time to do a showing tell.

Dear maryland motor vehicle administration, I can’t believe they allow scammers like this to run a legal business. I came here for a Maryland state inspection. First of all, they charge $150—which is $60 more than the average inspection place. The inspector looked over my vehicle and found some things wrong with it, which is fine—that’s what the inspection is for. However, he then told me the repairs would cost $2,500, but that he could “pass” the inspection by “fixing” not replacing some old parts for $900, and that he wouldn’t include some of the failed parts in the report to make it pass. That’s shady and completely unethical. I took his list of issues to my own mechanic, who replaced everything for around $500 total—including parts and labor. When I came back a week later for my re-inspection, he turned me away 3.5 hours before closing, which could have affected the mileage requirements for the re-inspection. I came back the next morning and he didn’t even jack up the car to check the parts that were fixed. Maryland state regulations clearly state: • A re-inspection fee is not charged if the repair can be visually confirmed (e.g., a burned-out light). • If the re-inspection requires jacking, lifting, measuring, or testing, a prorated fee may be charged. • A re-inspection fee for a non-visual defect may be charged at 1.5 times the hourly rate if jacking or lifting is required. This inspector spent 5 minutes glancing at the car—no jacking, no testing—yet still charged me $50 for the re-inspection. That’s not how it works, and it’s against Maryland regulations. I’ve reported them to the MVA and submitted other similar complaints from people they’ve tried to scam. DO NOT come here. Don’t waste your time or your money. Huge scammers. I give them a -1. I have also attached the reviews to this email so you may all see that i am not the only person whom has had a similar experience this scammer is out attempting to scam everyone.

First off If you have asthma don’t sit in the office because it’s all smoked out with cigarettes- secondly at first I was like well let’s give it a shot and see if it’s really that BAD but it sure was- 175$ CASH for inspection where else where is 90$ even with debit or credit card- so for all folks out there- just go somewhere where it’s professional

Very bad attention. Call to ask about a service and what they did was make fun of it. Very bad attention. And if you call the right number, they are rude.
