I found the expert techs at this facility to rise above and beyond my expectations. Virginia Tire and Auto Care in Chantilly would not even look at my car to see if the car was in good operation unless I paid them $200. A1 auto care checked my car for free and charged me nothing to see what needed to be done. I did not need to spend much to have my car pass inspection and to be in great condition. This is a good company.

I left the European car which the Volkswagen Passat 2018, here. I went to the dealer before I came A1 auto tech.the dealer shop couldn’t find out what is problems and couldn’t fixed it. So I got to know the A1 auto shop by my friend's strong recommendation. Mr.Steve Lee and other staff were kind and explained in detail, and it was as perfect as when I first bought a new car after fixing it.

The owner of this shop seems to have changed last year, & the shop's name seems to have been changed to A-1 Autotech. I hadn't noticed anything wrong with my car before dropping it off here recently for a safety inspection based on a handful of excellent reviews about the new owner, but now I think they were probably composed by his extended family & friends because later on, he claimed that his team had repaired a few different parts of it (without giving me any estimates nor a chance for me to get a second opinion elsewhere first) & then charged me an exorbitant sum for the supposed repairs. Well, I have definitely learned my lesson. I'll not visit this shop again nor recommend it to anyone around me.

edit to add: FYI - the below review was for the prior ownership, new ownership (Steve Lee) took over in early 2023, and I look forward to checking out the new shop in the future. I will update my review then. ----------------- I have been a customer of A-1 Auto Care for a few years now. I take my cars to them for oil changes, inspections, and whenever anything goes wrong with the vehicles. The owners are very polite and very professional. They were the ones I first went to on an acquaintance's recommendation when I was ready to let go of the dealership for maintenance, and I am very happy I did. I have grown to trust their recommendations, and I have not once felt that I was being pushed into unnecessary work or charged unfairly. Hard to believe from an auto shop having come from a dealership where I felt that every time, but that's why I'm here recommending them.

Steve is the new owner! He has worked on three car issues for me since he purchased the business. I would highly recommend him. He works hard, gives you a good price and it is nice to find a truly honest shop! If anyone that lives in the Chantilly area this is the only one place to go to get all of your automotive needs met with professionalism, only recommended items that need to be replaced at a reasonable charge. I have recommended numerous individual's to this business. He also has a wonderful cat that he adopted as a stray around his business. Say hi to Tiger the Cat and tell Cavin, Chip recommended his shop. I am a retired Army COL and know excellence when I see it!
