Went half an hour out of my way to replace my emergency flat tire at this shop today. I have been here multiple times before in the past, this is the first time I bring my “new to me” car. Car was damaged on the front bumper. First associate was very rude and gave me attitude within the first second of my claim. Manager came out with a calmer disposition and refused to take responsibility. This car has been sitting in a garage for the past month. It is my weekend car. There is absolutely zero chance that they didn’t do this. Avoid this place at all costs. Awful service.

Very disappointed. Will not be going back. Not the "old" Tire Shop we used to have. Took my vehicle in for minor service work and they did a free battery check. The test showed that my one-year-old battery was only at 59% and I needed a new $200+ battery. I went to the place where I bought the battery: they showed it was still at over 90% and fine. I used the vehicle for 3 months in the northeast where morning temperatures were regularly under 10 degrees and never had a problem. Apparently, it was a scam to get me to spend money unnecessarily. Also, we took our other vehicle in for a tire rotation. It came back with a piece of trim on the door hanging loose and flapping around. I was able to get it back in place, but I have to wonder what they did to damage it and don't know why they didn't put it back themselves.

I cannot say enough about this shop. The word no is not in their vocabulary. The team AAA tire and auto know no problems, only solutions. Everyone in the shop from in the bay, behind the desk, and manager go above and beyond for their customers - from shipping in parts from other shops, same day to pulling off miracles with their scheduling. Despite moving further from the area, I will continue to drive to AAA over going to any other shop for the outstanding customer service and integrity/honesty the team displays each time I’m there.

I very rarely write negative reviews for any business, but after multiple frustrating experiences I feel like other people should be aware. I have taken my car here multiple times for state inspection, every time I have shown up right after opening and have had to wait multiple hours for my vehicle to be ready. At my most recent visit my partner took my vehicle in, he arrived at 7:30am and was the second inspection in line, as he didn’t have a ride to go anywhere else he informed them that he would wait for the vehicle. At 11:30am (4 hours later!!!) he was told that the vehicle failed inspection. They quoted $750 to adjust a parking brake, replace a single tail light, and replace the horn on the vehicle which they claimed was not loud enough. He declined these repairs and I had them done at the shop I trust but is further away. My total for these repairs including parts was $100……. Additionally, they informed my partner that to have it reinspected if the repairs were done elsewhere would be another $20, which I have since been informed is against VA law. This shop used to be reasonable and I don’t know if they recently got new management but their practices are unethical at best, and possibly illegal. Do not go here.

I am so thrilled with my experience at The Tire Shop! I requested a quote online for a headlight restoration after my car failed inspection due to cloudy lenses. I quickly received a detailed phone call from Manny and scheduled my appointment. They offered me a ride to work with their shuttle and also picked me up when the service was completed. I was amazed by the results, my headlights look brand new! Compared to other shops in the area, the price was reasonable and the service was wonderful. Thank you all so much for your hard work!
