Extremely Dangerous Workmanship I had my rear brake pads replaced at this shop shortly after purchasing my car, and it turned out to be one of the most dangerous experiences I’ve ever had with a vehicle repair. After the work was done, the shop installed the wrong type of lug nuts on my rear wheel. Because of this mistake, my rear left wheel completely fell off while I was driving. Thankfully it happened on a quieter road, but I had been driving on the interstate the day before and this could easily have resulted in a fatal accident. I had the car inspected and repaired at Firestone, where they documented that incorrect “mag-style” lug nuts were used instead of the proper acorn-style lug nuts, which caused the wheel to detach. The incident damaged the wheel hub, wheel, and other components and required significant repairs to make the vehicle safe again. I contacted the shop directly and gave them the opportunity to respond and make this right, but they never replied. This level of negligence is unacceptable when it comes to something as critical as wheel installation and braking components. I strongly urge others to be cautious before trusting this shop with their vehicle. They only take cash and they don't care whether your car is safe or not afterwards.
