Great place. I’m sitting here in the lobby as I’m writing this but the place is welcoming and unlike most places these days they give me the feeling they actually want to help customers. I heard a guy come in to pick up his car as I’m sitting here and their entire goal was to solve an issue with as little cost and inconvenience as possible. Highly recommend this place!

Called to get a pre purchase inspection done for a used car I was considering buying and was taken in immediately. One of the mechanics, very kindly, told me why the purchase wouldn’t be a great idea and explained exactly what was wrong with the car. Even offered other options. Was given a nice little write up to take back to the dealership. This was my first time there, great experience!

I just absolutely appreciate this company and their employees. No matter what I’ve come here for whether a crash or a simple emissions test, I was taken care of! One of my biggest worries when I first moved down to the Fredericksburg area was finding a honest, no nonsense car shop for my vehicles. America 1st has been my go to shop for the last 6 years, they are honest and they always do a good job. I always leave the shop confident in the work they do. It is nice they have the “key drop off” option, which has helped me with my busy schedule at times. Do not just take my word for it, you can read other reviews and of course I recommend going the shop itself and having work done.
