This shop received multiple complaints when it used to be Culpepper Tire and Auto and now is rebranded as Apex Automotive. They have pending litigation against them for not completing repair work properly and conducting dishonest business practices. Resolutions were not provided after multiple attempts, reasonable offers and timelines. Prices are well above averages and they use grey-market branded parts sourced from eBay with 65%+ markup. Front office is extremely unprofessional and resorted to personal attacks and insults when confronted with clear evidence of dishonesty corroborated by a second repair shop. It was an absolute mistake trusting this business. See for yourself based on available open source research. I’d give this a lower score if it wasn’t for the friendly technician. I’m 40minutes away from this shop and ordered tires from tirerack.com who recommended them. Made my reservation to get the tires put on a week in advance and when the day came, they told me they had a family emergency (I can understand that) and my appointment would still be good to go. Drove the 40minutes to find out the technician wasn’t even told I was coming and doesn’t change tires. Waisted gas and a trip for nothing. Took the tires elsewhere. I’m not sure if this is normal practice for them or they are truly just going through stuff, either way reschedule me instead of lying to me about being able to do them. Disappointed to say the least.

Chris replaced my brakes, rotors, and completed a State inspection on my vehicle. He is a very knowledgeable service technician and does the work quick, but also takes the time to explain recommended services.
