After 16 years of parking in the same spot with no issues or collisions in my residential parking garage, I managed to misjudge the angle as I was pulling into my space and heard that awful crunch sound in the right rear side of my car. Fortunately, my insurance agent highly recommended Best Auto Body for the repairs and I'm so glad he did! Best Auto Body, Julian and his supervisor, Brian, in particular, were incredibly helpful and kind, and their repair team did an outstanding job in repairing the damage. I am very detail-oriented (my handyman person bemused calls me "eagle eye" and "picky-picky") and I can attest the that repair is basically perfect. It looks brand new! Also, I appreciated the proactive communication from Julian, who was transparent, empathetic, and appropriately managed my expectations about cost and timelines. Julian told me my car would be ready on a Wednesday, and indeed it was! Frankly, I was a little surprised about that just b/c in a post-COVID era, supply chain issues continue to have an adverse impact on lots of different business. I was involved in a collision with my Tesla Model Y and initially took it to a Tesla-certified body shop. Unfortunately, there was absolutely no progress — weeks went by with no updates from the shop and no movement on the insurance side. From the very first day, they were organized, responsive, and incredibly professional. They provided a detailed estimate right away and took over all communication with the insurance company, which immediately took a huge weight off my shoulders. Their attention to detail and quality of work were outstanding. They repaired my car using genuine Tesla OEM parts, and it shows — the fit and finish are flawless, the paint matches perfectly, and every panel lines up exactly as it should. Best Auto Body Shop lives up to its name in my twenty years of dealing with Manager Bryan Garay. Not only do they deliver a beautiful repair, but they go the extra mile by touching up small spots not related to the job. Their price is very reasonable, which is why I traveled 40 minutes fro DC to Alexandria, VA instead of using a local repair shop within a five mile distance from my home. My neighbors thought I had just bought a new car when they saw my 2017 Toyota Camry after the repair! Excellent service overall!
