I would HIGHLY recommend staying away from this place. I made the mistake of not taking pictures of my car when dropping the car off , upon getting it back i found extensive damages. I voiced my concern and they fooled me into believing I did the damages. THEY FORCE YOU TO leave a good review, and I was given a paper on what review i should give. I compared the picture i had and what they had, i found in the picture that the red circle or bleed were damages they circled. They did not circle the big damage and the proceed to lie to me about it not being there. Here are pictures for you to see. I never had damages on my frunk area and however, i saw spray paint in my frunk as well. NEVER TRUST THEM!!! I would never lie and I am a solid reviewer, their lot is unorganized and messy, rocks all over the ground and it could crack your window and paint. Find another shop!!!

I would strongly advise anyone to avoid this auto collision shop. Not only did they do a poor job with the repairs, they also broke my front collision sensor. They initially provided a repair quote, only to walk it back later with no reasonable explanation. After that, they delayed the repairs by an entire week, again without proactive communication or accountability. What’s truly unacceptable is that after causing the delay, they didn’t even bother to contact me. No update. No phone call. No courtesy message. I had to chase them down just to find out what was going on. If you value your time, transparency, or basic professionalism, this is not the place. A collision shop should understand that customers are already dealing with stress—and this one only added to it through poor communication and broken commitments. Plenty of shops know how to give honest estimates, meet timelines, and communicate like adults. This is not one of them.

I've had two experiences with Carstar. One for a Tesla Model S that had to be totaled out from a hit and run, in which Marjorie was able to provide a quick estimate to my auto insurance provider so that I could get a quick payout for my Tesla. The other experience is with my Tesla Model X with minor dents and scratches from a car backing into the side of my car in a parking lot. I was really surprise at the quick turnaround time as it only took 3 days to fix the car and get it back to me. If you visit Carstar, they have a huge volume of cars in their lot, so obviously they are in high demand for their great work which was why I was surprised with the quick turnaround time. When I picked up the car, I told Marjorie that the rear door panel didn't look flush with the front door panel. It looked to be a 3mm offset that I thought was due to the repair. Fortunately, they had a technician working when I was picking up the car that Saturday and was able to align the panel to be within spec and flush with the adjacent panel. When I got back home, I looked at the accident photos and saw that the offset in the panel was there beforehand and not caused by the shop. I know that Tesla are notorious for fit and finish quality issue so having the shop address the issue that wasn't part of the job was the cherry on top. I'm very pleased with the work from Carstar of Springfield. Their staff are just as good as the quality of repairs they provide.

It was a just ok repair on our Ascent. You can see where the body work was done, doesn’t look smooth Update: We took it back to have it redone, but still not happy. This is not skilled work sad to say, I do not have the time or patience to keep taking it back for under par work. I am not a disgruntled customer, the quality just is not here on the work that was preformed, even on the second try. As you can see in my video the ripples in the door panel that was supposed to be fixed properly. I am now waiting to take it back for a third time. I have emailed Ryan the operation director but without any contact. I left a message for them to call me back, they need to make good on the work that was completed.

The best auto body repair shop I have ever seen. My car looks brand new coming out their shop. Chris, Polly and the technicians were amazing.They collaborate with rental car for easy pick up and drop offs too. I highly recommend this shop.
