These guys are totally legit. They brought my 1966 383 back to better than new. You can’t rush quality so keep that in mind. Let them do their thing and sit back and wait for absolute perfection. Totally recommend them.

I would not recommend this place. Communication was terrible. I was told a timeline of 3 months to have my engine rebuilt (it took 6 months). I was told I’d receive pictures of the build as it progressed, never received one picture. If I didn’t call them, I would have never received an update. And the kicker, absolutely no warranty. You pay over $10,000 for a brand new engine, drive off the lot and have an issue, it’s on you.

Entire experience was great. They’ve machined many heads from jobs I’ve done professionally as well as my personal heads most recently. Always count on a great job from them.

I trailered my '70 El Camino here to have some maintenance taken care of: carburetor tuning, brake drum replacement, and address a cooling issue that prevent the car from being drivable. I worked with Evan via email and phone to detail what I wanted done, very easy. I met with Evan when I dropped off the car and confirmed what I needed done. After two days, I got a call and the car was ready - they worked quickly! I was then able to drive the car back home, ~50 miles, without any issue. The experience of working with Evan was great, as well as the communication. I thought the work was quality and the prices fair. I recommend Classic Motors & Machine for any future classic car repair.

I had an appointment 6 weeks out. Dropped the vehicle off and it sat in their open lot rusting for another 6 weeks after promising they'd keep the car cover on it (car has rust and leaves in the interior). Never called to update status. Every time I called, they were busy and it'd be another week (why haven an appointment?) Brand new engine lasted the 5 mile drive home and blew up on my driveway. They showed zero empathy and was happy to install another block for $6k. Go elsewhere.
