Raul and his team did an amazing job on my vehicle today! I was debating on which mechanic shop to choose but I’m glad I decided to work with Commonwealth Garage. The team quickly diagnosed the issue with my vehicle and the upfront estimate process was super simple. This shop does not confuse consumers with any hidden fees/costs which is awesome. The team was able to repair my car within a matter of hours! I will 100% be coming back for any additional repairs my car may need. I highly recommend this shop for your car needs!

If you’re looking for a trustworthy, high‑quality mechanic, look no further than Commonwealth Garage. I first discovered them in 2020 under stressful circumstances. A dealership’s “JV team” had botched a post‑accident repair so badly that my wheel was at risk of falling off. Commonwealth was the shop that diagnosed the issue and fixed it correctly. Since then, they’ve handled nearly every type of maintenance my car has needed — oil changes, tire rotations, transmission fluid service, brake pads and brake fluid, new tires, alignments, a battery replacement, wiper blades, filters, and more. Through all of it, Raul has been consistently professional, transparent, and meticulous. On my most recent visit in January 2026, he even took the time to walk me through the why behind a brake issue, which I genuinely appreciated. And on a lighter note: their bathroom is exceptionally clean and smells great — a small detail, but one that says a lot about how the shop is run. The seating area has two comfortable couches, and I’ve had many great conversations there while waiting for my car. Six years later, Commonwealth Garage continues to earn my trust with their honesty, expertise, and outstanding customer service. I recommend them wholeheartedly. Raul and his assistant, Kayla, will take excellent care of you.

It's the best experience I've ever had with a mechanic workshop. Raúl and his technical team were very professional, friendly, and transparent. Communication was excellent at all times, I was attended to quickly, and I felt I received honest service. They showed me the parts that were going to be installed before doing so. My vehicle didn’t pass the Virginia Safety Inspection, and another garage gave me an outrageous quote for the repairs. I’ve attached photos of what’s wrong with my vehicle. Thankfully, a friend recommended Commonwealth Garage and told me to ask for Raul. I called right away, and Raul gave me a quote that was not only reasonable but completely honest. His staff was respectful, responsive, and efficient. They repaired my vehicle correctly and quickly, and it finally passed inspection. They were really impressive, and I truly appreciate their professionalism and excellent customer service. I highly recommend them and would definitely be coming back for all future repairs!
