Covenant Auto Service is a very ethical and reliable shop. They have done work for me, and I have also recommended to family members and friends and it has always been a very satisfactory experience all around. Could not be happier. I have found their work on my car timely, expertly done and at a reasonable cost. I won't go anywhere else. Couldn’t recommend Phil at Covenant Auto enough. You will not be disappointed.

Nobody likes having to get car repairs done, but if you have to do it, Covenant Auto Service is the kind of place you want to take your car! I really appreciate Phil's attention to detail and reasonable evaluation of what kind of work needs to be done and when. He doesn't try to sell extra repairs every time I show up with my car, but does let me know if manufacturer recommended services are due soon or if he notices a hose or something that's looking bad and then lets me make the decision. He explains why one service shouldn't be delayed and another can possibly wait a little longer, too. The only service I've ever felt even a little bit pressured to have done is my oil changes, and we all pretty much know that's the number one thing we can do to keep our engines in shape, so I don't really mind the nudge. He's been taking care of my cars for several years now and I'm happy to give him a 5 star rating!

With so many questionable mechanics out there, it's great to find one that is honest and dependable. Phil is meticulous to! Also, if you come in with a problem and tell him you are on a tight budget he will tell you if it isn't really a big deal, or if it will probably get worse and cause problems. The best shop in Northern Virginia to deal with all your auto related needs. They installed a transmission and clutch in my car at a really fair and honest price, gave me tips on where to get a transmission, and installed it with no issues for the last couple of months. I’ll be back with all my needs on my car and recommend this shop to other people I know :)

I really appreciate being able to talk to the guy that actually does the work on your car, and Phil is friendly and easy going. He cares about the state of your car, and is thorough. He does not push you to do unnecessary repairs.
