If I could give more than 5 stars I would. I found Dan's Trans and Diesel Repair by a Google search and so thankful I did. My son was having issues with his diesel pickup truck and we did not know what to do. I called and spoke with the owner (Dan) and IMMEDIATELY he was amazing. He was very kind, polite, helpful and knowledgeable! I initially thought he only worked on commercial vehicles but he said "I absolutely will take a look at it for you". He would update me with anything he found out, and he found the problem when we had already put 2 alternators on my son's truck. It is so nice to know there are still kind and helpful people in this world. I would recommend him 1000 times! You can't go wrong with having him work on your vehicle. If you want someone that really wants to fix your vehicle and will take the time to research what the real issue is then take your vehicle to Dan's Trans and Diesel Repair!

I write reviews often, but very few businesses have ever impressed me the way Dan’s Trans and Diesel Repair did. Daniel, the owner, delivered a level of professionalism and integrity that is truly rare in this industry. We were left in a terrible situation after another mechanic overcharged us and failed to fix our truck. When we called Daniel and explained what had happened, he immediately identified the real issue just over the phone—something the previous mechanic couldn’t figure out after hours of work. It was already after 4pm, his shop was closing, and his staff was heading home. Yet Daniel did not hesitate for a second to step in himself. He made calls, secured the part we needed, and then personally drove out to the side of the highway to help us when we needed it most. Daniel not only repaired the true problem, but he also fixed the mess left behind by the other mechanic. He walked me through everything he was doing, explained the damage, the incorrect work that had been done, and how he corrected it. His professionalism, skill, and honesty stood out immediately. And what truly set him apart was this: he charged us almost nothing, fully understanding how we had been treated before calling him. In an industry where trust is everything, Daniel proved that there are still mechanics who do their work with integrity and genuine care for their customers. In all my years in this business, I have never encountered someone as knowledgeable, dedicated, and compassionate as Daniel. I strongly—and wholeheartedly—recommend Dan’s Trans and Diesel Repair. Dan is fantastic! We were traveling through Virginia on a hot Sunday afternoon on I-66 when our Class A motorhome overheated. Dan took time to not only fix our rig for a very reasonable cost but also let us test drive and return to the shop before we continued on our journey to make sure we were not overheating still. Dan is very knowledgeable and I highly recommend him!

Had an emergency with my POV - truck went into limp mode. Called Dan and he told me to have it brought in; he had the problem diagnosed and fixed in 24 hours at an incredibly fair price. He is amazing; definitely would recommend and have him do work on the truck again!

Broke down in our 2017 Ford 250. Ended up being a split fuel filter. Dan stopped what he was doing, went and got parts to repair and had us up and going within an hour. He is an angel. Honest, hardworking young man.
