Excellent experience every time I stop at the Costal gas station on Duke St. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, the store is clean and well-organized, and the service is quick. Prices are fair and they stay well stocked, which makes it a convenient and reliable stop. You can tell they take pride in running the place. Highly recommend if you’re in the area!

Came here for an inspection and they said that my headlights needed cleaning in order to pass inspection. They negotiated a price to clean it, which went from $160 to $80. I begrudgingly agreed. Point is; they will hold your car hostage threatening to fail the inspection unless you agree to some sort of service. Other inspection stations have never mentioned the headlights as being an issue. Note: this might be a different owner now. I had this done in 2022 or 2023.

Extremely rude, will charge $40 for putting air in your tires without telling you the price first (when other places will do it for free). I have seen them turn away customers because they don’t like the look of them.

Scammers like no other. I came to this place to get my state inspection done without my husband, which was A huge mistake first, I get told that “all four of my brakes need to be changed and two of my tires are no good” Then after I tell him, I need to call my husband. He comes back out and says we can do two of your breaks instead like this is some kind of negotiation. I tell him no, and his final offer went to $300 to change one of my brakes to pass the inspection. So without me even saying a word, he changed the price from $1200 to $600 to $300. on top of that I was charged for them not doing a single damn thing. They change the price on me three different times and then told me if I come back I only have to pay them one dollar. Edit: Took my car to a different shop and passed without any questions…..
