FRIENDLY SERVICE, BUT QUESTIONABLE REPAIR STANDARDS I agree with those who have pointed out unethical practices here. While Bree is indeed as helpful and kind as everyone says, great customer service doesn’t make up for improper mechanical work. Last year (Feb 2025), I paid Dulles Exxon to replace a flex pipe to pass my state inspection. This year (Feb 2026), I returned for my inspection, only for the pipe to fail again. The reason? The technician found the pipe had been "sealed with caulk"—an improper and temporary fix for an exhaust component. When I asked them to stand by their work, the service manager claimed it was "out of warranty." They offered to cover the $50 part but demanded I pay the labor costs to fix a mistake they made in the first place. I shouldn't have to pay twice for a repair that wasn't done correctly (or safely) the first time. Extremely disappointed.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Outstanding Service from Bree at Dulles Exxon I stopped by Dulles Exxon because my engine had started making a knocking noise, and I asked Bree (Breeanne), the service manager, if she could take a quick look. She immediately came outside to help and, impressively, was able to identify the issue before we even opened the hood. Bree really knows her stuff — she explained the problem clearly and gave me a quote right away. I wasn’t sure if the price was fair, so I checked with my regular mechanic, and even he said it was cheaper than what he could do! I scheduled a time, brought my car in, and they got everything done the same day. It was such a pleasant, professional experience from start to finish. Bree and the team at Dulles Exxon did a fantastic job. If you need any kind of car work done, I highly recommend going here and asking for Bree — you’ll be in great hands!

Charged me WAY more than the original estimate for a basic oil change and then either forgot to put the guard back on the bottom of my car or just stole it. When I called to ask if they still had it they basically said I can't prove the didnt put it back on and it couldve just fallen off so they don't have to do anything about it. I will never go back.

Despite the negative reviews, I went here for an emissions inspection. Overall, it was a pleasant experience. I did not have an appointment and waited in the vehicle queue for about 25 minutes (two cars ahead of me). Once it was my turn, I worked with Ayaz who was very friendly and respectful. I was in and out of the emissions test, including paying, within 5 minutes.

Poorly managed and unprofessional. I went in for an oil change and state inspection. After waiting in line the first day, they told me they only had time for inspection since they were closing, no oil change. The next morning I waited in line again, only to be told oil changes aren’t even done from that line. When I asked inside, the tattooed lady — who seemed to be the manager or in some kind of boss position — kept me waiting while she talked on the phone. When she finally addressed me, she dismissed my concerns without any real explanation. The process is disorganized, the communication is unclear, and the staff’s attitude is dismissive and unhelpful. They wasted my time twice. I would not recommend this place to anyone, and I wish I had read their reviews before going there.
