For 3.5 years now I have been taking our vehicles to EXXON Smoketown Service Center for state/safety inspections without a hitch. In addition to the mandatory inspections, I have had to return one of our vehicles on a couple of occasions for oil changes/other basic servicing/coolant, heater and radiator repairs/tire replacements, and each time I visited this service station, service has been spot on in spite of how busy they can be. They try their utmost to troubleshoot the issue(s) and remedy them promptly, all the while keeping me abreast with updates throughout the process. Jeremy, as well as the other staff, do make the entire process of visiting the mechanics less stressful for us laypeople. I do recommend them highly.

They always get me in and out fast. They are very professional and compassionate. They take the time to break down the repair costs and explaining your car issues to you in non-mechanic terms. The Manager Gabe is always checking on you while you wait to ensure you are doing okay. I has shopped around for price comparisons in the past and their prices are average, plus they let you buy the parts yourself if you want. This is the only shop I let my kids, and I use for all our repair needs.

Today, I visited Exxon for an oil change and tire rotation, and I’m genuinely impressed. The staff handled everything efficiently, and the manager was outstanding. The cashier was customer-friendly. The whole experience was smooth from start to finish, and I left with my car running smoothly and confidently. I’ll definitely be returning for future maintenance and recommending this location to friends and family.

They showed outstanding professionalism from start to finish, taking the time to explain the issues clearly and keeping me informed throughout the repair process. I was driving out of state. I left NJ right after getting an oil change. I have a new vehicle that I’m still getting used to and as we were driving it starts shooting alarms and distress calls at me, lol. Saying that there was no oil life left, go to a service center immediately, do not continue to drive, etc and so on. Being 4 hours from home, I panicked a little, lol! I pulled over and found this Exxon and it was incredibly busy. Cars in every bay, people coming back and forth to ask the manager questions. I felt bad asking for help. However, Jeremy never made me feel like I was a bother. I explained the situation. After telling him the make and model of my car he knew exactly what happened. The oil change was fine and there was oil, but the previous serviceman didn’t inform the car, haha. He came out and fixed it right away for me. No charge. I tried to give him a tip and he refused (in a very kind way) Where I am from, people don’t like to even answer a question let alone walk away from their “post” and help someone out. I really appreciated it. I’m a new widow and was on a trip with my son and dog. So, to have that help, no questions asked, it made more of a difference to this tired mama than you know. Thanks for the kindness, Jeremy and Exxon.
