Several months ago, I decided to find a new shop to help with my 2014 Mercedes CLS. Not only am I impressed with the service to my car--it is the best it has run in years!--but also with the clarity of communication. Costs were also very reasonable and well explained. The staff and mechanics are honest, hard working and want to see everything done well and done right. Again, the best my car has driven in years.

I went in because my car had a leaky gasket, I did some research and came across Fairfax Auto Repair. I called and explained my situation, the guy was very nice, he said they can take a look at it. I brought my car in and I was greeted by the owner, Rebecca, she is very sweet, understanding, and a girls girl. I explained my situation to her about the leaky gasket, she asked if I was shown and I said "no, i'm a girl and this is a boys world". She said "we'll take care of you". As I was sitting in the waiting room, they were looking at my car and they called me into the garage so they can show me the leak and they explained what was going on, how severe the leak is, etc. really holding my hand throughout the process. I asked if they can fix it today, as a last minute repair, and she said yes. After they fixed my car, they did a test drive to make sure everything was okay. They gave me a great price, I was expecting to pay $1000's because its an engine repair, but they only charged me around $460. I felt very well taken care of, they kept me in the loop, they showed me the problem instead of telling me about it, and they were able to fix my car all in the same day. 10/10 Please go here for great service!

We've had our cars with Fairfax Auto for as long as I can remember. They are thorough and trustworthy and have helped us figure out the right repairs at the right time. Notably, they were able to get a surprise broken axel repaired on a tight deadline so our daughter could get back to college on schedule. Great experience! I haven't shopped around, but my guess is they are a bit more expensive than average, but quality work and dependable cars is one area where we have found the investment is worth it.

Fairfax Auto Repair, thank you for diagnosing the problem and fixing it. Although not an easy task, your persistence and positive attitude made a difference. My new battery kept draining. Every few days, it would run out of charge. I talked to more than one repair place. Most seemed hesitant to dive into the problem because finding which electrical system was draining the battery is a bit of a time consuming trial and error process. With my battery drained, I had it towed to you. You were able to diagnose the problem as the drivers side door electrical wiring. After replacement, good to go again. Thanks for your can do attitude.

Exceptional experience from the moment I walked in the door. I came here specifically because of the positive reviews and they did not disappoint. Rob was very thorough with my vehicle, provided a detailed assessment of the repairs I came for, plus pointed out caution areas I didn't know were an issue. Additionally, I never felt any type of pressure, just an honest conversation about the mechanics recommendation on repairs. Pricing was extremely transparent and consistent the entire way. If I had to sum up my experience, it's like I worked with a trusted friend to fix my car but these guys were certified mechanics with fair pricing. Will use again!
