I’ve used Gabe's Automotive multiple times over the years, and most recently took my wife’s car in for brake issues. They are hands down the most trustworthy mechanics I’ve ever worked with. They took the time to walk me through everything they found, were completely transparent with pricing, and clearly explained what needed to be done immediately versus what could wait. There was zero pressure and no upselling. What really stands out is their honesty. On more than one occasion, they’ve recommended the most cost-effective solution for me, even when it didn’t directly benefit them. That kind of integrity is rare in this industry. If you’re looking for a shop that treats you fairly and tells you the truth, I highly recommend them.

Over the last several months I've had all 3 of my vehicles serviced at Gabe's and am very happy I gave them a try. I will be taking my vehicles here for service as long as I'm in the Woodbridge area. Gabe's is upfront about the services needed and their pricing is very competitive. I did have an issue with one of my vehicles after its service and they made sure it was corrected promptly. The owner and master technician showed me in the shop where the faulty part was and explained why the incident happened. For my aggravation and trouble, they also provided what I consider adequate compensation. And to ensure the problem was completely fixed after I left the shop, the owner called me later in the afternoon to validate. As an aside, I was listening to the employee dialogue while in the waiting room. It was evident that they try to find the lowest cost solution to various problems. For example, I heard them talking about the initial price of a damaged rim that needed to be replaced and the owner stated, "We can do better than that. That's too much." In addition, I heard the owner talking about various certifications that were coming due for employees and that he was going to get his done early. It was obvious the owner was leading by example and wasn't going to ask his team to do something he wouldn't do.

The guys at Gabe’s provide honest, fair and friendly service. Another shop quoted me for a bunch of work on my new car, so I took it to Gabe‘s to get their opinion. They were honest about the work that needed to be done and said most of it wasn’t pressing. The visit lasted less than 10 minutes and they were extremely helpful. It’s hard to find an honest shop these days and these guys are definitely one of them! I highly recommend giving them a visit if you have any car issues or just want their opinion.

I took my car here for safety inspection. Apart from personnel being professional and prompt, the shop looks very organized and clean. If I ever need car work completed, I would definitely come back here again. Highly recommended.

Came in a year ago for ac check, was told i only needed a refill and there was no leaks. Well a gear later my ac is out. Never coming back, if they cant catch an ac leak like that i will not trust them on any of my other cars.
