My drive belt broke on the way to work and I immediately had it towed to George's Foreign Car Service. The team there not only fixed it, but found out why it broke (a rodent chewed through the belt - yuck!), then upon my request, did a complete review of my car needs and fixed a number of things that were real safety concerns - all in a timely manner and a reasonable price. Can't recommend them highly enough.

Excellent service, communication, and easy website based payment and invoice interface. This shop perfectly balances phone, text, face to face, and electronic/website communications. Jack fully understood the nuances with a 1996 Jaguar XJS In Line 6 Cyl vehicle, and maintenance/service specifications. Immediate response after a specialty Jaguar shop in Springfield neglected to secure one of two replaced shocks, and it became dislodged. Jack immediately got me in and corrected the problem; and made a full safety inspection of their work. Gained my trust and I returned for more routine maintenance. Service completed: Shock repair, oil & filter change, air & fuel filter replacement, MAF sensor & throttle valve assembly cleaning, brake fluid and steering fluid flush. Full safety inspection.

An absolute gem of a shop hidden away in Old Town Alexandria. I’ve been taking my MINI to George’s for several years now for everything from oil changes to minor repairs, to more involved procedures like a gasket replacement. Prices are fair, service is friendly, and they don’t push any unnecessary repairs. They track routine maintenance and send polite reminders when you’re due.

Good hospitality isn’t a term that one thinks of when thinking of a mechanic shop but it’s one of the first things that comes to mind when I think of George’s. I always feel “taken care of” there. The mechanics are knowledgeable and experts at what they do. They work efficiently and always return my vehicle in a timely manner. They’re always my first line of defense against car repair woes!!!
