Yall!! My experience has been great!! My client recommended these guys after having going to them for 45 years. I needed to get someone reliable! I have had ongoing issues with my van since I purchased at carmax over 8 years ago. They have FINALLY Figured it out!! Shops kept replacing valve cover gaskets and spark plug/s seemed yearly at 900$ a pop! And I'm like this is NOT RIGHT! COME TO FIND OUT, the actual part / hardware was damaged!! No gasket seal would ever seal the oil from leaking!!! Total insanity that NUMEROUS SHOPS FAILED ME. I wish I could sue all the other places who screwed me out of thousands of dollars! So far, so good! I think I can keep my van for awhile longer ! 🤞 fingers crossed. Thanks guys!

These guys are honest! A high pressure hose came loose on my van and the transmission fluid sprayed out. I called a different mechanic he said "We'll take out the transmission and send it away for repair and it'll cost you $6,000 - $12,000 to get it back on the road". Instead, I took the van to Herndon Reston Transmission and they had it back on the road for $250. That was my first dealing with HRT and they have been my go-to mechanic ever since. They have never disappointed me.

Randy and his crew provide excellent service at an appropriate price! Another shop quoted a price almost 2 and a half times more than HRT. I plan to return here often.

Had my car towed and dropped off on Monday, when I called and spoke with Jake, he stated they were busy and it could take up to 24 hours to get to my car. After begin without a car till Wednesday and not hearing anything from them I called back and they stated my car had "fallen through the cracks" and they hadn't even done diagnostics on it yet. Edit: The owner responded stating "I never called ahead" which is false I called and spoke with Jake on Monday before getting the car towed to their facility. They did say they were busy and would get to it as soon as they could. When I called to follow up on Wednesday the person I spoke with explicitly said it had fallen through the cracks and that's why it hasn't been addressed yet.

I had my Ford F-150 at Herndon Reston Transmission twice. The first time was for the major job of having my worn differential rebuilt They did an excellent job. The second time was to isolate a battery drain, which would require a jump start within a few days if the truck was not started every day. They identified the drain as coming from the truck's stereo, which has since been removed. Problem solved! Randy, Jake and the crew do great work! Thanks!
