I’m super glad I made the trip from DC to J&L! My 2010 4Runner had been continuously dying since January. After going to another local mechanic and the Toyota dealership, both of whom could not diagnose the issue, I decided to give it one last shot at J&L. They thoroughly inspected and tested the car and got down to the root issue which was a parasitic battery draw caused by a faulty stereo. Now, I just need to go get that replaced and I’ll be all set! Amazing! Someone FINALLY fixed the parasitic battery drain in my Nissan Z that has been troubling me for years. My battery would always lose its charge within a week or two. I took it to a reputable repair shop in the DC area and they were not able to diagnose the source of the drain. Then I took it to a shop that specializes in Nissan, and they were not able to identify the issue. After countless jumpstarts, tows, attempted repairs, and unfruitful diagnoses, I decided to try J & L Auto Electric and Repair. Problem solved. My car starts better than it has in years and the battery keeps its charge. J & L is the ONLY place to go if you have a parasitic battery drain. I can't thank Larry and his team enough for taking the time and putting in the effort to diagnose the problem. Now I don't have to pray every time I attempt to start my car. Thank god!
