Best mechanic I’ve ever had. We have been using this shop for years. Wayne Jones is professional, quick, thorough and fair.

Unbelievably poor incomplete work. Constant litany of excuses as to why work has not been completed. When poor workmanship is pointed out, items are unserviceable, vehicle is not roadworthy, cannot pass state inspection because of his lack of completion and, or shoddy work, you get a dumb look and the excuses pour out. This guy talks a good game but doesn’t follow through. I have been taken advantage of. Just keep on moving. You will be glad you did. Update; the more I get into fixing what Jones was handsomely paid to accomplish the more disgusted I become. Examples; new turn signals do not work. Horn does not work. Parking brake does not work. Engine does not start. Choke not connected to the “Jones rebuilt” carburetor. Convertible top cannot be closed by one female person of average strength. Tail lights falling out because of lack of screws. Driver side door entry light not installed after Jones checked entry lights for proper operation. Oops, missed that little detail. Window handles fell off after another Jones rebuild job. Window crank mechanisms and bumpers had to be replaced after said rebuild. Speedometer erratic and ratchets after Jones checked, worked on it. Speedometer interior lights inop after Jones worked on them. Front suspension not up to standard specs after Jones worked on it. Windshield washer dribbles water like it has a prostate issue. Unserviceable. After replacing the radiator the car was delivered down one gallon of coolant. I had Jones inspect the tires for serviceability and he told me they were good to go. I had a real mechanic inspect the tires and he showed me numerous, dangerous dry rot cracks in the tread, on the sidewalls and around the rims on all five tires! They could not even be balanced. And on and on! Basically I am paying to have the work redone, paying twice, after letting this loser have my car for exactly one year! Pretty much everything he touched, from bumper to bumper, had issues and had to be either repaired or replaced by a shop that actually knows their job. This character is what gives local auto maintenance businesses a bad name. As far as I am concerned his ability stops at changing the oil on a Ford Escort. Be warned. Be aware.
