I recently had an outstanding experience at K&A Auto Repair and felt compelled to share it. From start to finish, this family-owned auto shop demonstrated exactly why so many customers rate them highly . First off, the people here are exceptional. Orlando, the employee who helped me, was incredibly friendly, professional, and patient. From the front desk attendant to all the mechanics working behind the scenes, everyone I interacted with was warm and genuinely attentive. They made me feel heard and respected (something you don’t always get at other shops). Their communication style; open, easygoing, and free of judgement or intimidation. One thing I really appreciated was how they took the time to talk, listen, and explain things clearly. Instead of rushing through the service or talking over my head, they walked me through the issues, answered my questions, and helped me understand what was needed and why. This level of personal attention gave me real confidence in their work. What stood out most about my visit: Friendly, family-oriented atmosphere; this isn’t just a business, it feels like a community-centric shop. Clear, respectful communication; they listened and explained rather than rushed you. Welcoming service staff and mechanics; Orlando and his crew made the whole experience stress-free. Overall, my experience with K&A Auto Repair was excellent, professional, respectful, and genuinely customer-focused. K&A AUTO REPAIR IS AMAZING! We have been burned very recently by a local garage, Brother's Garage on S. Pickett in Alexandria. After 10 months of having our BMW at their garage for what we thought was a simple install of a couple custom parts, like a drop-in turbo, they told us a valve was damaged and the vehicle would need a cylinder head, but failed to get us an estimate for that work until, after 10 months, we filed a lawsuit! Then and only then did we get an estimate! We ran as fast as we could from that garage, and should have paid attention to their bad reviews! K&A AUTO REPAIR is a ray of sunshine! We took our Chevy Silverado in when the engine light went on. It needed a fuel pressure sensor. No hassle! No stalling! My hubby took the truck in and spoke with Kevin. It was late in the evening, so it stayed overnight. By 10:00 a.m. the next day, Kevin called me to tell me the truck was fixed and ready to be picked up! And the bill was not inflated to some crazy amount! Kevin was very responsive and prompt in his communication with us! He was professional and truthful about what the truck needed and the cost. True to his word. K&A AUTO REPAIR is now our go-to auto repair shop and Kevin is our contact person! It is great to know there are still auto repair shops and techs who care! WHERE DOES A SERVICE MANAGER TAKE HIS CAR? To K&A Auto Repair! So many garages don't work on modified vehicles, like my own dealership. K&A works on all vehicles and they have the expertise to work on vehicles who have some custom work! Kevin, Anthony and the staff are awesome! They get you in, and get you out in good time at a great and fair price, and they don't try to overcharge you at every turn, like other shops like Premier Auto LLC in Springfield, who say your car is fixed and drives like a dream and when you drive it a short distance, it is doing the same thing it was doing, and a little more, then when you dropped it off! K&A is not my go-to shop for maintenance, tune-ups, and headers! Down the road, we'll talk about heads, etc! It is awesome to finally find a shop that does great work and is honest in their business practices! I highly recommend K&A Auto Shop for all your vehicle service needs!

K&A is one of the most honest, efficient and hardworking shop I’ve found in the US in 15 years. They hVe brought my truck back to life. They always tell you the truth and are always willing to help however they can, kevin (the owner) has sent me guys to diagnose my car when i have been stranded, recommended a great tow guy, and has taught me a lot about my truck. Miguel is also top notch as well as Leslie and the rest of the guys, the even recommended me with the best auto body shop in Alexandria. If you need to repair you car, no matter what it is, K&A got your back. 100%
