Very disappointing experience. They initially told me it would be $18 to fix my car’s headlight, but at billing they suddenly tried to charge $43. When I refused and asked them to remove it, the owner/employee became rude and repeatedly told me to leave the shop and not come back. They even told the technician to just hand me their bulb without putting my original part back in place. Thankfully, the technician — a Mexican gentleman was respectful and helped me out. But the overall customer service from the management was unprofessional and unacceptable. I will not be returning.

Took my car for emissions testing and wiper replacement here yesterday. They were able to get me in immediately and, as always, were courteous and efficient. They always have a great attitude and I fine them super helpful at this station.

I had a great experience at VA Forest Liberty. I needed both a safety inspection and emissions test but didn’t have an appointment. Despite that, they were incredibly accommodating and got me in quickly. The staff was friendly, efficient, and professional. Highly recommend this place if you're looking for excellent service, even without an appointment!

***DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE FOR WORK*** If you value your time, money, and peace of mind, avoid this shop for service. Even if they have a better price or can schedule you sooner, it is not worth it. I came in to have brakes replaced and left with pulsing brakes. I brought it back to them TWICE and they claimed it was fine with no issue and did nothing to address it. On the third time bringing back, they recommended $1k in work which didn’t resolve the issue. After going to a different shop, I called to let them know my experience and was gaslight by the owner telling me he would never let new brakes go on pulsing, and would never let a customer bring back with issues after 3 times. In addition, on the third time I mentioned a specific issue outside of the brakes (not related to any work they did prior), but rather than fix the issue I addressed, they went on to fix something else. I can’t express how bad of an experience I had at this shop, they wasted my time, money, and made me lose my peace of mind with my car. While they took in the car to relook at it each time, they never addressed the issue and left me second guessing what was wrong with it each time. I since took it to a different shop, where they had to resurface the rotors (as this shop wasn’t competent enough to fix the issue on three separate occasions), and was told the separate issue I mentioned was in fact something that needed to be fixed. I am genuinely unsure if any of the work they did was needed, and if they ever replaced my brakes completely (I was charged for all 4 rotors and pads). I spent over $2k in work at this shop and regret every bit I trusted them with. While they will relook at their work, in my opinion they are clearly incapable of fixing things not just the first time, but as well as the second and third time, and will continue to waste your time and money. Again, if you value your TIME, MONEY, AND PEACE OF MIND, AVOID THIS SHOP.

Pros- this place is quick and generally will take people without an appointment. I’ve never had an oil change done so fast. Same with inspections. Cons- the prices for services that don’t have a fixed price. The inspections are standard prices, but somehow the oil change ended up being over 100$ when I get the same one at the dealership for 65$. They charged and extra 30$ for topping fluids, checking tires, etc that I didn’t ask for but they said was “standard” but then they charged for it. They had already done the service so I couldn’t change anything. Will not return. Check the final price before you have them perform the service.
