My car was involved in a hit and run accident on 5/23 and was taken to L & M Body Shop. I received a call on 6/10 that my car was ready and needed to be picked up. Upon my arrival there was an issue with my deductible, as my quote was $200 due to the other person being uninsured, however L & M insisted on $500 and were impatient as I tried to reach USAA to clear this up (which USAA did do). I asked for paperwork about the repair and if someone would go over the car with me and I was told NO, so my son and I left. I have been sick for months with a chronic illness; the shop knew, as I have mentioned it before and again on the day of pick up, however that did nothing to improve their customer service. Three days after picking up the vehicle I noticed the hood was not on correctly; it should have never left the shop looking the way that it did (see photos). I called the shop of Thursday and told Sasha (manager) that I had photos that I would like to send him of the hood and he said, "NO!" He stated that I should bring the car in on Friday (next day) and it would take 15 minutes to repair. On Friday the vehicle was taken to the shop and we were told they had no time to fix it and to bring it back on Monday for 1 to 2 hours to be fixed. At this point I am livid as L & M were playing games, being disrespectful with my time, and had done horrendous work without accepting any courteous responsibility. Today (Monday) the car was taken to L & M and it was not looked at for the 1 to 2 hour repair and we were simply told that it had to be kept in order to replace the hood. At this point I am fuming as I have now been LIED to by L & M several times and I am without another vehicle or an apology for their egregious behavior. I asked Sasha to speak with the person who inspects the vehicles and I am quickly told that he is at lunch. Sasha hurriedly goes outside to the car and starts making excuses about how this spot here can't be fixed and how this spot here can't be fixed; he then states how USAA wants them to use OEM parts first. I state to Sasha that all of this does not excuse the behavior of L & M sending my car out in this condition and making me come here multiple times based on their lies. I also state that if the hood looked like this and did not work USAA would have approved a Toyota hood if they requested it prior to them lying about the car being ready. They did not do their due diligence and were rude and irresponsible. Sasha continued to blame USAA for them sending my car out of the shop in that condition, never apologized for the multiple lies L &M told me or my time waisted, and if they can lie about an obvious defect like the hood WHAT ELSE ARE THEY DOING TO PEOPLE'S CARS that can't be easily seen. There are many things that I think about L & M: I was I treated less than because I am a minority? I was treated less than because I am a female? I was treated less than because I used insurance rather than self-pay? I don't have the answers to these questions, but I do know how this shop disrespected me and I would encourage you to BE WARE! When you are paying for a service, never let Sasha or any company talk down to you, lie about the service, feel entitled to give you poor service with no accountability or humility. TAKE YOUR SERVICE TO A PLACE THAT SHOWS YOU AND YOUR BELONGINGS RESPECT, L& M is NOT that place!

Rude lady at front desk, shady business with possible over price quotes that they never give you at the very beginning. They wanted me to sign a contract that stipulated that I must pay for any charges that they forget or didn't find at the beginning. After reviewing other people's experiences I am happy I didn't leave my car with them.

these people are so amazing!!! I was having a really hard time getting the bolt out of my license plate plates as I had ordered special plates for my car. My tags had just expired and I was so scared. I was gonna get pulled over driving there. Not only did they get the bolt out but they installed both my rear and my front license plate waxed some scratches that I made in my car’s paint while trying to get the real license plate off and didn’t charge me anything!!! Nothing they did all of this for free!!! Turns out I will be going back next week to have them fix the dent and repaint my door because I need that done!!! They want a customer for life for doing this and being so amazing!!!

Worst repair shop in the 🌎! The company took almost 2 weeks for!!!None of the work was complete. A simple $2000 job! This company was through my insurance "Gieco"as well. Very discusted and disappointed with Gieco sending me here!!!I will be reaching out the better business bureau, and take this up the food chain if I need too, to get my repairs fixed like they should have. Update: OK, so they missed over $3000 in repairs and the damages they made. People I would strongly advise you not to go here ever.

This is my first time writing a business review, but I felt compelled to share my experience due to how poorly everything was handled. I brought my car to L&M Body Shop in Woodbridge VA, to repaint the front bumper and hood, which were heavily chipped from road debris. I was initially told the existing bumper could be repainted, but later they claimed it needed to be replaced. Even though it only took one day to get a new bumper from Lexus, the entire job ended up taking nearly a month to complete, far longer than expected for what should have been a straightforward repair. Additionally, I was planning to install a paint protection film on the bumper, hood, and fender. Each time the car was taken to the installer, it had to be returned because L&M failed to properly clean off pen marks or prep the surface. The paint had to be rebuffed multiple times before the film could be applied correctly, causing further unnecessary delays. After all this, the manager offered to “give me a deal” to fix a small paint chip on the door. However, the quote provided was double what they had charged to fix a similar chip on the fender. After nearly a month of inconvenience, I expected better treatment, not inflated pricing and broken promises. Unfortunately, I can’t recommend L&M Body Shop based on this experience. The lack of communication, poor quality control, and unprofessional handling made this a very frustrating process.
