Had my block for a little over a year….. spent over $4k and this is what I get in return along with parts I purchased and supplied. Wanted an extra $600 to assemble which would’ve put me over $5k…… Want transparency, look somewhere else…. This isn’t the place….

Took my 2014 suburban in for some engine work and to have an issue with the gas tank fixed. Dave quoted us a very reasonable price, however upon pick up the price had doubled. After a back and forth he admitted to never pricing the parts just giving a round about estimate and never informed us about the increase in price. We picked the truck up after hours and the truck had engine light on and running rough also our gas tank issue was never fixed. This was two weeks ago I have called Dave numerous time with no response and has stopped in to the shop to be greated with locked doors. My suburban is now back in a different shop having the issues finally fixed!

I thought I found a competent engine builders for my project. I was proven wrong. I gave Dave my 86 Chevy C10 and asked for a newly built 350 engine and transmission. I also purchased 2k in truck accessories and looked forward to the results. A promised one month project turned into 2 months. I was given a powerless engine with a loud tick. The same noise my old engine had. The transmission will not shift until the rpms are high and when it shifts it gives you whiplash from the jerking. It won't start easily and it won't stay running. 7 of my accessories were not put on the truck. The engine bay was what I expressed to him the most. I wanted a beautiful engine surrounded by a clean, fresh painted well. I got back a dirty well area with pulleys that were hand painted black with visible clumps of running paint. He took nearly 18k from me and delivered me a disaster. I will be suing him after I have another shop verify what I think. I think he never built me an engine. I believe my old engine had a dressup kit put on and that's it. I will keep you posted on what I find.

David rebuilt a bottom end for an old 86 saab 2.0 turbo block for me. It has been a while since I was able to get it dropped in my saab but I can only say that it runs extremely well. All of my correspondence with David was great and he really delivered for me and I’m enjoying the engine that is in my car now daily. He is great and I will use him for services again and again.

RUN away from this guy!! May 2021, I gave my Big Block Chevy to David to be build a 496 from the ground up. I dropped off my parts, and a block to build on, and plenty of cash for the project.... Delay, Delay, excuse, excuse, "I'm almost done with it he told me!" He stopped answering my calls. One year later I came to check on my motor. Absolutely nothing done to it except spending my money on parts that did not even work on my motor. The pistons I could not use, The camshaft was lame, absolutely no machine work done to the block to get it ready. He did not follow any instructions on what I wanted in my motor. An absolute disaster...... April 2022, I pulled my truck up to his door and loaded all my stuff back into my ride; bare block, boxes of parts that I gave him , and anything I could salvage from the stuff he spent my money on. He wasted a year on my project and hard earned money down the drain. He's a liar, he misrepresents his abilities, and I would not send my worst enemy to him for work to be done. He's unbelievable in every way!
