This was one of the best mechanic shops I’ve been to. They were able to diagnose a complicated issue with my truck and have it repaired within a day. They also called to follow up and see if everything was running well. I’ll definitely be back.

If you are in need of economically affordable auto care, Rose Auto of Fredericksburg is the place to go. I purchased a 2008 F-350, put a new front end on it, had an alignment done, and still had a wandering effect while driving. Rose auto redid the alignment and identified the problem within an hour. Instead of charginging for a full alignment, Rose auto gave me a break and only charged me for an alignment check. Seeing as how Rose auto is one of a couple of places that can do an alignment on my truck, they didnt have to cut me a break at all. I am grateful for what Rose auto did and will be returning for tires in the near future. Thank you Darwin and Rose Auto.

The people of Rose Auto Clinic are very helpful and accommodating, they treat you like family. I was traveling to the area to purchase a used car and I wanted to have it inspected beforehand, and due to a misunderstanding on my end, I did not realize that there was a line of cars and I would have to drop it off. The worker at the front desk graciously moved us to the front of the line because we couldn't go home to wait and we only drove the used car to the auto place. Then the mechanic only took about 20 minutes to check the car over and give me peace of mind before making my purchase. Edited to 3/5 stars After taking the used car back home to our mechanic, he found that what this shop said was a leaky oil gasket was actually leaking transmission fluid, and it was leaking pretty bad. Hoses had to be replaced and it ended up being pretty expensive, this information would have been better to know beforehand to negotiate with the dealership. The towing receiver assembly and the rear bumper were unbelievably rusted out as well. Chunks of metal were flaking off and I don’t know how they missed it. Ended up having to do those repairs myself and again it would have been good knowledge for negotiating. I was willing to ignore missing the transmission fluid as I was rushed to the front, but I don’t know how the rust was not seen at all and not mentioned to me.

Anyone that knows this shop knows they don't need the reviews. It is so hard to find an honest shop that cares more about their customers than making a dollar. I was referred to Roses more than 10 years ago and so thankful for the recommendation. They have always treated me like a member of the family and have always taken very good care of all my cars and trailers. Honestly, I have never had an issue! Prices are super fair and on several occasions they have gone far above what I expected. Eric, the owner is super down to earth and an outstanding guy. Darwin, their service manager is outstanding and my old inspector Craig has always been super through ensuring my vehicles are safe to operate. Craig recently retired and as expected, the new guy Bennett, he is equally through and seems to fit into the family just fine. To say I feel lucky to have them on my side is an understatement! Thank You!

Brought my car in to check on some noises. After Darwin did a thorough bumper to bumper check, he found some very necessary items that needed to be fixed and some replaced. I had such a bad oil leak that it had splashed on a lot of my engine. Darwin advised fixing quickly and pressure washing so as to prevent a fire! So thankful for the advice. Now my car drives like new. Excellent customer service from Angie and Darwin and very fair pricing!! Love these guys! I'm a loyal customer!! Thanks guys!
