Sam Auto Body is the best!! I took my 1997 Toyota 4Runner there after an accident which insurance deemed as a total loss. Sam did an amazing job — working with the insurance estimate and the payout I received for keeping the vehicle as a salvage — to beautifully repair and restore my 4Runner at minimal cost to me. I’ve owned the car for almost 30 years and really didn’t want to walk away from it. Sam made it happen! They have great customer service and go the extra mile (they threw in some extra interior cleaning and a safety inspection) to ensure you are satisfied. I very highly recommend Sam for your auto body repair needs! So, it turns out I can't add a new review for new service but can only edit this review (seems unfair -- I'd like Sam to get another 5-start rating for a different repair). Anyway, a few months after the 4Runner repair, I brought a 2010 Mazda 3 to them after an accident (don't ask) which insurance also deemed a total loss. I didn't fully agree with he insurance estimate (or the adjudication of a total loss), but I couldn't successfully protest it. Again, Sam did a wonderful job of repairing and restoring the vehicle, and this time for less than the insurance estimate (allowing me to keep a little money in my pocket this time). As before, their customer service was fantastic, and I walked away satisfied. Go to Sam!

I had an excellent experience with Sam Auto Body! I recently made a good dent on the rear passenger door of my Toyota Corolla Cross, after hitting a concrete slab in a parking garage. They repaired the damage in a timely manner, and the results were PERFECT. Paint color’s spot on, plastic cladding is clean, and the door panel is flush again. Looks factory condition again, as if nothing ever happened. All the staff were friendly and professional throughout, and were honest/straightforward about pricing and the repair process. They even had my car washed before pickup, which was nice touch. I’m glad I read the reviews becoming coming, I HIGHLY recommend Sam’s Auto Body work. Best auto repair shop in NoVA and very high-quality work.

Sam is a genius and an artist! I left my car here a week ago feeling a little nervous after some scammers promised to fix my dent at a parking lot a few weeks ago and left me worse than before. At Sam’s, we talked through different options on how to fix it, and they gave me estimates on what each option would cost. Once I agreed on the approach, they gave me a quote on the spot, which I am happy to report was the final amount I paid (no alterations to the price after work commenced). I paid to get the work done without insurance and it wasn’t cheap, but it was a fair price. More affordable than other auto body shops I got quotes from. So, I trusted the positive reviews as well as the assurances I received, and thank goodness I did. I am so happy with the final result! Definitely will be back for any future work I need. They were so prompt and quick with my bumper and fender replacement. I dropped it off on Tuesday and I picked it up on Friday morning. Also, they got my car washed even in the winter! They were thorough with the insurance process, proper with estimates, and quick with the service. I hope I don't get to go to the body shop in the future, but should another accident happen, I will definitely revisit here.
