Bryan, the mechanic, rebuilt the carburetor on my motorcycle and used standard tubing instead of proper internal braided fuel line. That’s not just a shortcut, it’s the wrong material for the job. Unsurprisingly, the line degraded over time, ruptured, and dumped an entire tank of fuel everywhere. This is basic mechanical judgment that any competent shop should get right. Cutting corners like this creates real safety risks and expensive consequences for customers. Based on this experience, I would not trust this shop with any work and would strongly recommend avoiding them.
