I cannot say enough amazing things about Scott and SW Automotive. After a routine oil change at a dealership, I was suddenly told I needed almost $4,000 worth of repairs. I left feeling overwhelmed, scared, and unsure of what to do. I’m not a car expert, so I thought I had no choice but to accept it. I started calling around for help and ended up speaking with over 20 different shops. Scott was my last call of the day, and the moment he picked up, everything changed. He was unbelievably kind, patient, and took the time to explain things in a way I could actually understand. When I brought my car in, he printed out the dealership’s inspection list and went item by item, giving me honest quotes and telling me what was truly urgent, what could wait, and what I didn’t need to fix at all. He even walked out with the mechanic to show me some of the issues in person so I could see for myself what was going on. That level of transparency is rare. The service itself was great, the pricing was fair, and the communication was outstanding. But what really blew me away was Scott’s kindness, when I couldn’t pick up my car and had to go out of town for a couple days, he even offered to have it dropped off at my apartment complex, which is about 15 minutes away. I’ve never had a mechanic go above and beyond like that. I left feeling safe, respected, and taken care of. I genuinely trust Scott with my car, and I will be coming back for everything I need from now on. If you’re looking for an honest, knowledgeable, and truly caring mechanic in the Manassas area - SW Automotive is the place. Highly, highly recommend.

Consistently impressed with, and grateful for, Scott and his team- personal touch, more than fair/transparent prices, quick turnaround with work, and able to refer for other services (which also completed quickly given SW referred). I drive an hour + and continue to feel it's worth the time. Definitely recommend!

Absolutely great customer service! Scott was awesome! His pricing is more than fair and he was so helpful with getting me accommodated to get my car into service. And his payment setup is super easy, too! Truthfully, as a female going to a mechanic shop can sometimes be intimidating, but Scott was super professional and direct, which I appreciated! I cannot recommend him enough. Definitely call him and tell your friends!

Found out about SW Automotive through Facebook group and I'm so glad I did! Scott is extremely professional and friendly and his prices are more than fair! I had all my brakes and rotors replaced and he was able to squeeze me in to accommodate my schedule. They worked fast and got it all done and took it for a quick test drive to make sure everything was good to go. Can't recommend his services enough! If you need something done, give him a call!
