I brought them my brand new 2025 M3 comp.. it was not even 3 weeks old and had 400 miles on it. I was overall upset with the job the first time and some of it was worse after being redone. On first glance, the job looked decent. But the first shocker was waiting 3-5 days for the film to dry, rolling it down to find atrocious gaps between the film edge and window edge (atrocious for an OVER 500 dollar tint job). The gap was also uneven and wavy. This was on all 4 windows, but I was particularly upset that this was on the front windows (pictured)… the ones I use the most. On top of this, a 3rd rear window had a hair in it which needed to be redone. TintFX had no issue taking the car back to redo the 3 windows, but I regret being nice here and only have them redo just 3 windows instead of the whole car, aside from 1 window which was acceptable. The owner saw the issues I pointed out and agreed with me, then blamed it on whatever file 3M provides them to measure and cut the tint. Ok, fine— I just wanted it fixed. This time, they hand cut the front windows and it is better. That is what I expected for an over 500 dollar tint job. In addition to redoing the rear sliding window, they also redid the rear quarter glass, which I did not ask for, and now it is WORSE than it was before (pictured). I only wanted fixed what was pointed out, but it displays a lack of communication back to the tinters. I am still left upset about the amount of dust in the rest of the windows. This is over the industry average and what is considered acceptable after taking to other professionals in the industry. To me it seems like it was just rushed through both times with no quality control or attention to detail. On the other hand, the owner was relatively pleasant to talk to, even after having to be put in the position to complain about the work done. The location is decent.

Quick and high quality service. Reasonable prices. Best window tint experience I’ve had. Wish I I had come here earlier with my other cars. They even get the little corner window, which one shop I went to previously with another car wouldn’t do.

Wow great service, fast auto tint installation, and reasonable prices. Cannot say enough good things about tintfx. Just had my SUV tinted here and would highly recommend to others. This place gets a lot of customers so call in to schedule an appointment. Military veteran owned business 🇺🇸. I wish I knew about this place earlier!

2021 now 2026: got 3M ceramic IR installed on everything, to include only IR blocking on windshield. Everything holding up great. Sunroof was cut slightly off (in a spot you'd never realistically see/notice); I never asked to get it fixed but I'm sure they would have. Came across my receipt and wanted to be sure I left these guys a great review.

I am a tint shop from eastern Connecticut and one of my customers had an issue with the tint I installed. My customer only visited CT for the holiday then went back down to Arlington VA. I reached out to TintFX and they took the customer in same day to tint the window that had a problem. They took great care of her and got her in quickly. Great, trustworthy people with a great warranty.
